The hard part is finding the o ring. I suppose I'll do what you did, if mine looks good I just won't replace it.

Should I use High-Temp Silicone Liquid Gasket on the sensor?

I didn’t, there should be a o -ring on the new sensor

My Honda pilot is throwing this exact same code. When I googled it, it gave several different options for what the problem could be. Is there a way to know if this is the issue for the code exactly?

You could probably test the sensor with a multimeter. But it’s not that expensive to buy on and put it in, super easy and most likely the problem
