- After opening the Diner Series 2, it was only fair to check and see what the Café Series 2 has in store for us. I'm not too crazy about most of the items in the Cafe Edition (same for Series 1). They aren't as big or intricate compared to the Diner Edition. Except there was one that I got during this video which blew my mind!

I think part of why I love this channel so much is the fact that he isnt afraid to make mistakes and even shows them to us. In a lot of arts and crafts communities we only see the perfected final product and it makes it hard to start a craft because people will inevitably make mistakes and messes. GBK shows that even the bigger names have accidents and imperfections, and it really helps to make me feel like my crafts and projects are still great!
GB, of all the RUclipsrs I watch making these, yours are by far the best! You put a lot of thought and time into getting your piece to look fantastic!

The name "petit four" comes from the small, secondary ovens in which the pastries were baked.
The ovens were heated with residual heat from brick ovens used for breadmaking.

The alphabet soup was definitely my favorite, even though I loved everything. But I don’t know why I was really hoping that you would put GBK on the spoon instead of the ABC. I guess I just thought it would make a cool look to represent you 😊😊😊

If I get a duplicate I'll definitely do that! I realized that after I stopped filming and started cleaning up the set.😅

I absolutely loooooove these make it minis and this series in particular is by far my favorite especially the Alphabet soup,the Hot dog, the Dip & Dots,chocolatecoveredStrawberries ,and the Popcorn. I got a few today and a bunch of the other series with the Ramon 🍜 bowl yesterday. Man I wish we had cool toys like this growing up lol because my fully grown adult a** is obsessed with these

i unironically love the concept of a miniature plastic straw in miniature plastic packaging in a plastic bag in a plastic ball wrapped in plastic, its so teeny, they should sell miniature waste bins with some plastic waste stickers and some small plastic trash bags so you can sort all of your miniature plastic waste into it :3

Hey, GB, so for the macarons, what i found helped was if you put a thin layer of the resin on the top macaron before squishing it down on the bottom one. You had the right idea with putting a big dollop on the bottom macaron, but having that thin layer helps the resin slip into place. Also, i found that doing it that way, you will have yo use a uv light to cure all sides of the macaron. I hope this helps others who get it, since i found that method much more successful.

I would love for them to make the resin scented to match the product. Like cherry scented.
But it can be challenging since resin is toxic to whiff it.

That's a great idea building the soup of resin. Never thought of that. I'm going to try your method if I get the Alphabet soup. I only got the cherry slushie and chocolate strawberries. I didn't buy as much this time because I'm buying a new phone. 😅
You gotta have those priorities, otherwise you can slip down a rabbit hole and spend every single dollar on these 😅

Hi GB! I just bought the Cafe season 2 wave 2 4 days ago at the Target by me! I was kinda confused as to why my box had a different picture in the front as to the pic that's on those you're doing. So I asked a few people on RUclips and they told me I had the wave 2, so that's exciting! I also got the case of the Diner season 2, wave 2! Again I was really confused as to why I had a picture of a bowl of ramen and not the pizza. 🤭
5:12 Petit Four is French for "Small Oven" so that is what they call little bite size pastries

I love the alphabet pasta! Brings back memories! and my dude.. I was trying to find Mini Brands, the food ones, Walmart is legit cleared out. I could only find the toy and fashion ones. I need jewelry making stuff! XD
I love petit fours & macarons, 2 of my fave fancy treats. If you get more macaroons you can mix the colors, use 2 diff colors for one. Some places do that for some to be funky.
Put macarons on the tray with the petit fours too.

not me screaming at 2:44 to put that straw in there 😂
on this one, I ended up mixing some of the resin and the ice separately and kind of built it up around the straw. I would put a bit on and hit it with the light, then add a bit more. it was a little tedious but I did end up getting that dome shape at the top. I kept the lid off to appreciate the beauty!
they all turned out great. the soup was definitely my favorite. if you ever get a duplicate you should put “GBK” on the spoon 😊

The macrons are so hard to do without getting resin on your fingers! Make sure to have alcohol nearby. Plus the resin for the macrons had a much stronger smell than the others I've done so far. I did do my soup in layers and put my name on top of the soup and ABC on the spoon. I wish I had seen this first to do the frozen moment on it. Loved it! Soup was my favorite to do so far in this series.

I buy these every time I go to target and I can never get the ones with the macarons I always end up with the ones with the pizza and now I have so many pizzas I don’t know what to do with them. I finally got the ravioli one and screamed so loud my dogs started barking 😂

Interesting. it almost looks like the blank entries are "special" versions of the normal ones. Like, the one next to the chocolate strawberries still looks like chocolate strawberries, but with a different plate. And the one next to the alphabet soup looks like its still alphabet soup, but in a pot. Some of them might also add an extra ingredient or two. Like, the blank spot next to the orange float is the same thing, but with a glass mug. And the one next to that adds another ingredient.
