Thank you, Uncle Victor. I almost forgot about signaling right at slope before moving off when I watch 1 day before my test. All your videos helped so much! I finally passed on 2nd try! Thank you so much for what you do here to help people!
Hi Victor! I just passed my Class 3 license. Thank you so much for spending the efforts in making these good videos, they helped me tremendously in passing the tp test. Once again thank you so much!!
You're very welcome! Great job.
Hi Victor! I just passed my 3A with 18 pts. These are very good recap for the circuit steps and turning points. I watched them every night and before lessons for 1 week before PT. Only got 4 pts for turning wheel while stationary when parking. Very helpful as it’s very hard to remember them from the lessons themselves as no notes were given and taken down. I suggest learners to do the same. Keep pts to minimum in circuit to allow for mistakes on the road. Thanks!
Great job! Well done.
same as you, im 3A and got 18 pts like you, almost fail but woot!
Passed my TP today. As per my experience, in order to have a chance to pass , you have to stay clear from the curb when inside the circuit---to achieve that, practice is of ultimate importance and this series of video help too. Thanks Victor!
Thanks for sharing.. Congrats and Cheers.....

Hi, Victor.
Just wanted to express my sincerest thanks to you and your videos. I’ve been watching them ever since I enrolled in CDC and they’ve helped me greatly.
I just passed my Class 3 TP Test on my first try and now I’m finally a QDL holder.
Thank you so much for your videos, Victor!

Hello friend...I have one doubt...what are the documents need to bring while on tp test?
@@ali00145 1. *Original* Identity Card/Passport 2. Valid PDL/QDL 3. Test Receipt 4. Student Booklet (For School Learners)
Take note: NO photocopy of item 1 is allowed and if you are a foreigner, please bring your *ORIGINAL* Employment Pass/Immigration Pass & Passport
@@pamelaaat I booking my tp test online...how can I get my test receipt?
@@ali00145 I went to the CDC website and realized no mentioned of test receipt, so don't need to worry! And good luck for your tp test tomorrow!
I used the circuit at UBI for the first time today, while going up the slope, I stopped before yellow line and applied handbrake, then I released handbrake while pressing the footbrake, the car rolled back a bit then immediately I pressed Accelerator. Would the correct way be to press Accelerator and then move off Accelerator pedal and press footbrake n release handbrake, suggestions plz
Hi, you should press the accelerator and release the clutch to the biting point first before releasing the handbrake.
Hi uncle victor, thank you for your videos, it helped me pass my tp test first try. Really helped a lot 🙏
Great job! All the best to you. Cheers
Thank you so much sir
Today pass my TP test
Hi Victor! I pass my class 3A license yesterday, thank you so much for spending the time making these video, really appreciate it alot!!
Great job! All the best to you. CHEERS....
i went for the slope course today driving auto and i had no idea why am i doing this. What i was taught is stop at the line and brake and apply handbrake. then depress on accelerator a bit and move forward and near the top lift up hand brake and just let car go down using engine brake..
Hello! May i check for auto car E brake. Do i need to put the hand brake up after the car stops after pressing the brake pedal? Thanks
Hi you need to engage to "P" then pull up handbrake and wait for tester instructions after your e brake.
@@CarRefresherCourseCentre thank you
Hi sir
i passed class 3, thanks for you sir.many help your videos for me.
Well done and all the best to you. Cheers
Hi!
can i know if going up the slope need to change to D1? (auto)
go up slope > apply handbreak > signal > change to d1 > press accelerator and release handbreak
Hi, no need to change to D1 if you driving auto car. Is automatic.
Sir when we on right side on slope...when coming down which side of lane??? Left or right?
Hi sorry as I don't understand your question.
Left, unless instructor or TP tester ask to go straight
@@aqillaaashareen7560 oh thank you for Ur reply...IAM pass ready last month at the date of 21.04.2021...😄😄😄
Hi I was wondering why we have to signal right after emergency stop? Why can't we just go forward without signalling right?
Hi, this is the requirement for the test. Also to show others that you are moving off.
Hi, I have one question: for directional change do we need to put the park gear after reversing into the lot or can just proceed to go out?
No need change your gear to P, just signal and turn out of the lot
@@pamelaaat okay, thank you! :)
Yup you don't have to. Thanks Pamela.
Hi! For auto car, can i confirm that testers will slam the dashboard which means i have to quickly brake? Is it okay if the car jerks due to the sudden brake? And do we always signal right before moving off or does it depend on which side of the kerb we are on? Thank you!!
Yes for the first question.
Is ok if car jerks.
Always signal right.
Why do we need to signal right when moving off ?
Hi. For manual cars, do I need to activate clutch once I stepped on the brake pedal for e-brake?
Yes. Both pedal at the same time. Preferably brake first then clutch.
Hi sir victor, during slope when we stop before the yellow line. do we must need to engage hand break.? For manual car
Yes you need to.
Hello, I’m talking my TP Test soon. Can I ask you regarding the kerb test, do we need to engage hand brake or P gear after we got up the kerb? Or is stepping on the brake enough? Thank you.
Hi are you referring to the ramp for auto car?
Only press brake will do after your car went up the ramp, no need hand brake.
Hi i got deducted points for failure to do engine brake, how to perform engine brake after releasing the handbrake and moving off?
Hi for manual car, drop down your gear and release the clutch. For auto car let go your accelerator.
Hi, thank you for your reply, but i got this point deducted in slope, how to perform engine brake after moving off from slope after releasing the handbrake?
Just release the clutch and hold on to the brake pedal when coming down from the slope before your car stop then clutch in.
I think u already clutch in at the top of the slope when you are coming down from the slope.
for auto during e brake, need pull handbrake?
yes is a practice during the time i was a school instructor.
Hi Victor, I have 2 questions.
1. Why is there a need to signal and check the right before moving off?
2. If I'm turning left after the slope, do I still need to signal right or can I straightaway signal left and check left blindspot before I move off?
1) Signal is to indicate you are moving off.
You don't have to check right but check the rear view mirror.
2) Yes signal to go off and signal left to turn left.
@@CarRefresherCourseCentre
Ok thanks victor
hi mr victor, as we’re not allowed to turn our steering wheel while vehicle is stationary for parallel & vertical parking, may i know if we’re allowed to do so for s course, crank course & direction change? thank you!
Hi actually no also but the tester will not fail you just because you turn the steering wheel whole car is stationary. He will look at your overall performance.
Car Refresher Course Centre noted with thanks mr victor! 🙏🏼 i have one more question, could you kindly give an example for “incorrect checking of blind spot/mirror”? i’m afraid that i might go overboard with my safety checks and accumulate unnecessary demerit points 😩
Can I ask at which point of time is the car stationary while parallel parking other than the parking is alrdy done ?
Hi victor,i want to ask whether is it wrong to not step on accelerator first before releasing handbrake. My instructor didnt point it out for auto car
Hi if you didn't press step on the accelerator slightly, the car might roll down.
Hi uncle Victor, I would want to ask because I learn manual, my car tend to stall whenever I release the handbrake when going up the slope. Is there any tips to prevent my car from stalling?
The reason for the stalling is you are still releasing the clutch unknowingly while releasing the handbrake.
hold the clutch and monitor your car before releasing the clutch further.
@@CarRefresherCourseCentre I see, are they any tips for me once I've released the handbrake, should I continue the hold the clutch in place and press the accelerator more?
hi, i failed my test due to not using engine brake in slope n outside for manual. what does it mean or what am i supposed to do ?
Hi, for slope when coming down, you need to release the clutch to have the engine brake.
Outside the road will be when changing down gear, you need to release the clutch every time you drop down the gear to get the engine brake. Most of the time, you are depressing the clutch.
Hi, during the tp test if the bus lane is open must I use the bus lane for learner? or can I stick to usual left lane when the bus lane is closed?
Hi, during the bus lane timing, testee or learner are not allowed to travel on the bus lane except when you need to turn left when the solid yellow line (bus lane) is broken or dotted. If not, you can travel on the bus lane so long is not bus lane timing.
Sir ebrake after why need to give signal right side? Why no give left side signal? E brake after I no need to keep left?
Depending on where the kerb is? (signal away from the kerb)
Depend what the tester instruction after the e-brake. If no instruction keep to the left lane.
Hi, I’m taking my TP soon but did not do any e-brake before at all. Is it still being tested for class 3a?
Hi yes but some tester didn't do the e brake. Ask your instructor about the e brake.
Better learn
What happen if our car has already passed the stop line and then the green arrow starts to flicker? Will we still be penalized? Thanks! 😊
Once you passed the stop line, you should proceed and should not be looking at the traffic light anymore. Will not be penalized.
@@CarRefresherCourseCentre thank you. I took my test today and passed at 1st attempt! Your videos are very helpful, hope to see more! :))
@@pamelaaat Well done and all the best to you. Drive more when you have the chance. Cheers.
Hi i have insufficient acceleration and sharp turn at junction in circuit, how can i correct this?
If your car stall, you will get this demerit point. Depress accelerator more before releasing your clutch to ensure car does not stall.
Sharp turning mean you may have turn the steering wheel too early while doing turning.
mr victor, i was reading the checklist and i saw that “remain in the junction” is one of the immediate failures. may i know what that means? thanks in advance!
Hi some of the examples will be 1) Vehicle stopping inside the yellow box while going straight,
2) Vehicle stopping in the middle of a traffic junction.
3) Stopping at the pedestrian crossing
Car Refresher Course Centre ahh i see, thanks so much for clarifying!
Hi Victor, can u make a video on how to turn a car to left or right? My instructor said the reference point to turn is to look ahead of the curb & once the front of my car starts to cover the curb ahead thats where I turn my steering wheel. Kinda confuse on that.. Care to explain?
Did you try your instructor method? Or ask your instructor to show you how?
Because is very difficult to explain to you.
Taking my 3A TP test in 5 days, the last time I drove was 7 months ago.. between then until now, can't book cause I didn't clear the simulator lessons and very hard to book with my work schedule. I think on the road is ok but I might die for circuit 😭 Anybody know where I can get last minute lessons in the next 4 days?
Hi, maybe you can call the school customer service and tell them your situation. They might arrange a lesson for you.
Sir what is veer off course?
Hi veer off course mean your car cannot keep within the lane after u turn, right turning or left turning.
@@CarRefresherCourseCentre sir how to make perfect u turn...can u please give some tips for me
@@ali00145 Maintain constant speed while doing the u turn.
I am assuming we are expected to adjust accordingly and not be like what happens during practice when the instructor will tell you which method he is testing now….?
Hi yes during your test, no one is going to tell you anything. you have to do yourself.
Hi Victor! When i’m on the slope, what signal light should i switch on? Been watching your videos for quite some time. I’m sure it will help me during my tp test on 21/12. Thank you so much!
Hi it depends on which side the curb is. If curb on the right, signal left.
Hi, I'm taking my test by end of Sep but I can book my TP Test already. Can I just get an advice on which timing should I book my TP Test if the day of my TP is on a Friday?
Initially wanted to book on a Saturday but sadly all the slots are gone :(
