Another 10/10 review from the best watch reviewer on youtube! You have a great eye for strap combos. Not a fan of how the titanium midcase looks + the gaps/seams between the midcase and lugs.
I just discovered your channel and you have great variety in the watches you review. Most channels feature so many divers or popular releases, your picks are intriguing and never boring! Also love the range in prices.
Thank you! Pretty much why i started the channel because i felt like i ended up coming into contact with stuff that wasn’t the norm. Glad it comes across that way!
@@chia-mingyang5804 agreed. Knowing they have the same case shape though makes me even less inclined to like the stone dials. Great dial with a let down case
That is hilarious, I was just looking at that exact D1 Milano Polycarbon in 37mm. I have two 37mm Polycarbons myself; love them, I wear them when I'm working all the time. Something tells me the wider watch community would hate that model but I really wanted a super light watch on a bracelet where I won't constantly be tearing up strap keepers so its perfect for me. Just not very legible. As far as this Baltic is concerned, its not for me. I hate to speak for other people but I get the impression everyone reminisces about 70s style but in reality it was pretty awful and doesn't work in this day and age. Still, great review, you are definitely the best.
@@Nefville nice! I’m sure you would love this one. Really fun piece. How have yours held up to wear? Do they scratch much/ look decent over time? And fair point 😂 not a design for everyone. And to be fair, not even a design for me this time around
Yet again, you prove to be better at choosing the watch strap for the watch than the company itself. You should really consider consulting for these micro brands. Secondly, do you consider the Maen Manhattan 37 or 39 a dress watch? It's cheaper than the Baltic and seems to be a much better quality watch...at least based on what other reviewers ha e said.
@@astorbeijer9424 thank you! And yes that is absolutely a dress watch and not too bad! I saw one in person for the first time this weekend. Would be a much better option than the Baltic
That dial is a disco at 1 AM. Everyone's screaming, "Look at me!" in their finest pick-up costumes. But the reality is that the guys can barely stand up, and half the girls have toilet paper stuck to their heels. In other words, the QC problems undermines the facade that the dial is trying to present. Even if everything was correct, there's just too much makeup on that face.
QC disappointing. Overall this is beautiful watch (especially with gemstone dial), but too small in that specific case design. 38mm version with 46mm L2L will be for everyone, 36mm is definitely not. Pass from me. 😢
@@theknightswatchI agree with you. Overall I have nothing against smaller watches, I love my NOS Ebel Classic XL, which is 37.5mm watch but because on patented Ebel bracelet it wears absolutely fantastic. :)
Yall watch Critics talk from your butt sometimes. 36 isn't small. It's a perfect size for dress watch. If your wrist is bigger, cool... but it doesn't change the rules because you can't wear it

@@imarasnothere too kind, thank you. And ya they did a little too much here haha. Hopefully simplified going forward

Great observations. Super well done as always.
Thank you good sir 🫡
This watch is all about the glisten and shine. The dust and rough cuts are not acceptable. BTW, great seeing you in NYC!
@@patrickhartmann1540 absolutely nice to bump into you! And absolutely if only the markers were a little better
I prefer the stone dials LE though they are much pricier.
It is also sold out. I probably would have bought the stone dials one if they are still available online.

@@theknightswatchdefinitely one of those watch’s that has tried too hard.
This watch would look amazing in a combination of a slightly bigger case, wider polished bezel, AND shrouded lugs.
@@viceroygunrey4037 100% I hope they iterate on it

sub-seconds hand is just overkill. Hour and min hand would be sufficient. Also not sure about the color its a bit "off"... not 100% there.
@@gcardinal interesting not something I thought out. But true a center seconds or no seconds might make it feel better
Too much design. Too much money. It’s a Frankenstein watch. Chinese watch. extra $700 because it was touched by French hands 😂
@@AMore429 a fair point. I’m sure they work their margin in there. Better than some AliExpress type watches. Not better than them all
Yah right like Baltic hasn't made some really good products. Not your style but it's a stretch to be this dismissive
Bracelet looks horrible. 👎
Price is a tad bit high.
Drop the price two hundred dollars and introduce a better bracelet, and they will have a winner.
