It's a really good ball. 3 or 4 people in my league have got them and all are loving it.
It's a strong cover that can shape. I was pleasantly surprised.
Current bag has Reality (polished like a marble), Zen and a Hammer Web tour, plus an Ice for spares. I have been finding myself starting and finishing with the Web tour because my house shot is pretty dry. We run 3 games 4 people per team. I can see picking up a Hustle with our house conditions, because Speaking about Hustle, I would love to see a comparison of all the Hustles, with the RIP, M&M, Camo, USA, Wine!

Three ball arsenal is Exotic Gem if there is heavy oil, IQ Tour Solid for medium oil n IQ Tour Ruby when i need it to go down lane n hook.
Lou--you wouldn't consider the Phaze II and the IQTour for balls 1 & 2?
I put together a really similar arsenal, using the 1. Idol Pro (cousin of the Phaze 2, no for real the rg and diff are .01 different) as my control piece 2. The Radical Payback for that middle game of hellish transition (similar to the duo? Poor man’s duo? Strong pearl go zip) and lastly 3. The Hustle Wine (sister of the m+m, just different color) for the burn and friction. And I have a plastic spare ball.
TLDR we have very identical league arsenals 😂 5/5 stars

My league arsenal is Black Widow 2.0 hybrid, Phase 2, Idol Cosmos and spare with occasional Purple Hammer
Right now in my 4 person summer league, its Hyped Solid, Hammer pink pearl and Carbon Melee Jab. The Roto Grip Hyped solid is so good, ive rarely thrown the other 2 so far. I do have a Summit on order though
My arsenal actually you helped me pick. Hammer obsession tour for fresh black widow 2.0 hybrid for transition and a purple hammer for spares and I use it for fresh if my obsession is hooking too much.

Current trio is the TNT, black venom, and revenant. I got the TNT to replace the exotic gem I used to have. The early rolling of the TNT is one of the best motions I've ever seen in a ball! I got the black venom as I've never tried motiv, and it's an amazing stepdown. I go to the revenant when I need something long, sharp off the backend, and have some strength.
I just got rid of the exotic gem also, feld like it lost its pop! Plus maple lanes is using this new heavy volume oil double from what it was!
Lefty. Phaze 2 (oob) on heavy, hyroad (1000 grit) on transition or medium, electrify solid (lane shined)on dry or light oil.
Every house is different. For me, I start with a Hustle USA, then Hustle Camo, then Hustle M-M. I am just absolutely in love with these 3 balls.

I am going to try a 3 ball Storm arsenal for my 1st time ever next season: Summit (not sure how I am going to drill it), Infinite Physix, Revenant. I am guessing that the Infinite will be benchmark ball.
Last season I was all Radical with the Informer, Trail Blazer hybrid, Conspiracy Theory (short pin). The Radical stuff works really well for me in my league, so I will dump Storm pretty quick if it looks like hot garbage.

So, my 2-ball arsenal consist of Proton Physix (or Axiom... depending on the pair of lanes) and a Phaze II. No spare ball.
The lanes where I bowl league are only 2 years old and they changed the oil pattern from a 40-foot typical house shot to a 38-foot modified house shot that is oiled all the way to the 3rd board. 😢
A quick shout-out to Darren Tang for inspiring me to shoot my 10 pins with my strike ball. And also, I just don't have a spare ball. 😅

I carry 6 cause I bring 2 totes. Reality, Altered, Phase 2, Zen, Hyroad and then plastic ball. I don't know if I can narrow down to only 3 cause I love throwing all of them, lol.
My Arsenal is The Exotic Gem, Phaze 2 and the Hustle Camo. I need the Exotic Gem when I need to throwing something with a little less shape but can give me the “Pop” I still need. I’m throwing the Phaze 2 because it’s more versatile for me when the lanes transitions somewhat I can throw this my 2nd possibly the 3rd game. By the 3rd game I’m going to the Hustle Camo. Luis, Your two reviews on this ball sold me. I knocked the shine off of it w/a 2000 pad and it is great ball when I want to shut my angles down .
right now all i have is Hy-road pearl i am wanting a Zen or gem in a 3 ball idk what the best options for me are im a beginner more then anything

Phaze 2, Duo, Pitch Black. The PB is currently pulling triple duty as my spare ball, what I start out with on the fresh, and it's what I go to when the lanes get fried. I am looking for something like the Hustle RIP or M-M for in between the Duo and Pitch Black.
I am also looking for something like The Summit, Mindset, Xponent, Clone, or Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid for the top of the bag so I can just use the Pitch Black for my spares.
Always great content from Big Lou. You do such a good job communicating clearly about what is happening on the lanes and why. Your channel has helped me improve my game significantly in just my first year of bowling. High game this league is 279 with a 705 series (my first 700 series).
My current arsenal is starting with my UC3 fairly straight. Then I move 5 boards left with my Scorpion Hybrid and will open up the angles up against the ball return with my Scorpion Sting 🦂.
My favorite ball is still probably my Web Pearl but it has so many games on it that I need to get it resurfaced back to box or at least have the oil extracted.

For me it's the Summit because I like how it does on heavy oil, going to the Duo for transition and it typically gets me through the third game. However, if the lane starts to overgroove, I actually go to a Zen master. I've shot 290s and 299 with each ball and still waiting for that elusive 300. Because I have moderate rows and an arm that gets glitchy and starts to throw fast balls I try to find things that are aggressive, so I can counter my speed.
I have another house where that combination becomes the gem the exotic and then the duo.
I love my shinned Proton, dull Phaze II, 500 polished Ruby, box finish Duo, and recently just got ahold of a Dark PhysiX, which I'm loving at 2000. Should give me the best read on the variety of my 5 houses
My main league bag is a DV8 Chill,surprisingly clean through the front while having a strong motion down lane. That is my bench mark. I have a purple hammer, you know why and I also bring a pitch black as a spare / a major step down from my purple. I also will have a kinetic black ice close by if I need a little more than the chill.

We have to go just the opposite as we get oil carry down and the longer the night goes the straighter the lanes play so I go with my good old Storm Reign Supreme 15lb ( best ball out of the many I have had) and shoot 230s-250s but around the 9th frame have to change out to the new Primal Shock 15lb which I just bought a month ago and WOW does it hit!! went 826/ 3 games, with the two in our summer fun league - Dave (71 years old-lol) Note; out of the two of us it is my wife who is in our local HOF. Go figure.

I bowl in a 5 man 3 game league and majority of time I use the same ball all 3 games. I just pick my ball at random
Current bag has Reality, Phaze 2, Fate, iQ30. But also have a Zen, Wolverine Dark Moss, and Hustle Camo. Haven't really gotten along with the Zen, Wolverine was ok but like my iQ30 more, and my JoPo sleeve came unglued in my Camo and jacke my hand up last year so I have trust issues with that ball now. I'd like to get something besides the Zen to fill the gap between the Phaze 2 & Fate. Might pick up a Ruby to replace my iQ30 though.

Current league arsenal - RST X-1 and IQ tour Ruby (3000 grit finish). I'm trying to decide between a Phaze II or Motiv Black Venom to fill that middle spot....considering it will be the same lineup for tournaments I'm thinking the Phaze II will be a better fit........however, feel the black venom would be a better house shot ball. Any thoughts?

I wish we had 3 person leagues here. Hard enough to find 4 person leagues. Most of them are 5 person.
It's the opposite at the center I bowl at. Only 1 4 person league the rest are 3. We don't have any 5 mans in the city lol

For now, I have the Hy-Road, OG Black Widow, and Hammer Arson Pearl as my 3 ball arsenal. I can usually start off with the Hy-Road, and then transition to the Black Widow due to the 4000 finish and pin down drill. Then, I have the Arson Pearl which can combat severely chewed up lanes (5 person league) without the over/under.
I’m currently looking at the Summit or Phaze 2 to fill a huge gap in my arsenal now that I no longer have my Marvel-S.

Great video again mate. With 4 man over 3 the lanes are going to get smashed. I,ve been having a lot of success with the Ruby IQ (surfaced) in my league mate. It handles those conditions so well. I normally am in it by the 2nd game. I’ve not thrown an m&m but they seem similar on paper spec wise.

I use the Gb4 hybrid with storm mix. I use these ones because they work the best for me.

Luis, I also bowl league at S.P. Do you know what the house shot pattern length and oil volume are? Every maint/tech I ask, it’s like a hidden secret or something.
My bag consist of a gem , a proton, a black widow solid and the ghost, and lastly a night road.
I just balled up to 14 lbs so far I have a summit a hyroad and a mix is there any ball miss we do a 4 player 3 game league.
Man my house is so unpredictable that I have to bring a minimum of 6 to practice and or league. Shoot I've thrown a purple hammer one day bc the friction was so unbelievably low. And the next day on the same pair I'll be throwing an Idol Cosmos 4 left of my purple hammer line

Can I have the duo and the summit both in the bag heard the summit is to strong for slower ball speeds and less rev. I have a iq tour , storm fate and infinite physix and fatal venom but I'm moving up to 15 and want to add those to balls ( duo and summit) what do you think?

My current bag is P2, Duo, and I just picked up a Hustle M-M (on 9/26), Pitch Black for spares. After using the Hustle, I am going to add some surface on it as it is VERY shiny and seems to have an issue with going through the pins.

Just watched this video for the first time technically, I do not bow in a league/tournaments cause I’m technically a beginner bowler by with of my friends who are definitely better than I am. That is technically my league loosely speaking I have bowled my friends duo at times sometimes it does strikes. I’m surprised you do not have the phase 2 or even the IQ tour solid, which is my only bowling ball currently in your arsenal because of their versatility. I did not hear good things about these hustle boss and I heard they are cheap boy you mean bad one look good that again you are a professional bowler. I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about the summit if I may ask, what is your personal reason why you pick these three balls over the phase II the IQ tour solid or even one of the big asymmetrical bowling balls would you love such as the gem which I have mixed opinions on, since I have bowled a couple of my friends who have them. Plus the supernova the proton Physix and the infinite physicx
