“How dare you call me an old lady!” “Oh, I’m sorry. Just omit the ‘lady’ part.”
Old hag would be a better name.
😂😂😂
Connor, now 89 years old, tried tk pay a visit to her funeral service, only to have the cops show up and put him away for good for relentlessly stalking her and her family for decades, despite his tearful protests of longing for forgiveness.
It always amazes me how the DIL tolerates the MIL like this..I had a horrible MIL and I put my baby on my hip and his diaper bag on my shoulder. Walked out and never looked back..She told my then husband along with my ex FIL that he should break my arm to teach me respect. I left and have no regrets and no tolerance for any kind of abuse..That was 32 years ago. Best decision I ever made.
That's awesome - I did the same maybe we were just stronger and more independent back then,I don't know about you but at 21 mum and dad showed me the door (not in a bad way) I had job and my mum had spent years teaching me how to take care of myself and my home - so when my ex husband went that one step too far I told him to go fuck himself and headed off on my own - best thing I ever did 😁👍
Good for you then.
Good for you but did they break your arm?
i can't get over that the shittest, worse, lowest of people will insist that they deserve the utmost respect all cause they can inflict harm on you. sure they don't do anything for the family. often just talk down on you and blame you for their problems but you still need to respect cause's reasons aka the delusional ego. glad you left and made it.
She's sick in mind for sure. I'm glad you made the decision to leave
Tori could send Connor a postcard from every place she visits, writing "Having a wonderful time - glad you're not here!" on each one.
That is completely petty, I like it
Weather is here, wish you were lovely!
Thank your mother for me everyday from freeing me from your selfish cowardly clutches
That's what I would have done. :D
😆😆😆😂😂😂
Martha is beyond rude and Connor is absolutely spineless.
Nobrains
Martha never taught Connor how to do housework and she let her husband treat her like a servant. This is all Connor knows is that Tori is to serve him and he won't settle for less than that. Martha can't change any of this and she certainly won't improve the situation cuz she doesn't have a clue how.
Martha: “Conner doesn’t understand! He’s just a child”
Uhh…a man child maybe….
Wasn’t that just THE most sickening part of the comments? Ick 😖
A child would have more sense.
That send me major red flags
Soy boy 👦😆
Girlllll run and keep running
Go Tori! She was very gracious and patient. Good for her!
When her husband ran crying to his mama and badmouthed Tori, that's already a red flag right there! And Tori was smart enough to stand up for herself from the very beginning! And karma sure hit hard on Martha in ten-folds! LOL!!!
No, Tori seemed kind of wishy washy at first, trying to argue with her evil MIL. She should have called the Police to have somebody go with her to the house to get her belongings, or if Tori owns the place or holds the lease, to get her ex and her in laws out.
@@ladyv5655 Well, to be precise, it was at 9:57 that she started to stand up for herself :D
Son needs to cut the apron string from mama and grow the hell up.
@@sandrahertel6282 Right!
I'm glad Tori is standing her ground. ❤
This is why I while living by myself I clean up after myself every time I eat or craft, so I don’t have a lot to clean on weekends! Making a habit of it is key!
I hope you're saying this against MIL
I work full time, same as my
Husband. His job is physical, mine is mental and emotional. I do the bulk of the house work, while he does the bulk of the chores needed to run our farm, that’s outside of our jobs. But we both help each other. And if the housework doesn’t get completed, so be it.
Yeah, housework can wait. My wife and I concentrate on the housework every Saturday until noon. Then we get out of bed.

The husband and the in-laws did this lady a favor by showing their colors so she should had a perfect excuse to leave this toxic marriage and in-laws
Connor, now 89 years old, tried tk pay a visit to her funeral service, only to have the cops show up and put him away for good for relentlessly stalking her and her family for decades, despite his tearful protests of longing for forgiveness.
Martha returned to her lazy, ungrateful husband and son, and agreed to resume housework and cooking. The very next evening, both keeled over after dinner, writhing in agony as the poison coursed through their systems. She did not resist or try to escape when the police came, and they noted it was a little creepy how she just smiled and cheerfully admitted everything she had done, ad went off to prison without a peep of argument.
Umm you and those who like that need some help😂🤣😂🤣😂😁 I prefer that she disappeared after selling the house out from under them or at least they come home it is empty.... No jail time for our girl and she gets to have a good life free and clear😂🤣
Lol something like that might happen if she’s pushed enough
If that was a movie, I'd watch it, though, I'm pretty sure I've seen a true crime documentary about something like this
Darn, I guess those canned peaches WERE bad 🤷♀️
Whoa......I like your ending even more. 😈
I worked for my job for five years. We use to be in a huge building and had to dress business casual(I miss it). Now we work from home. I still so the very same thing i did when we were at the building. Hell I've even gotten promoted while working from home. It's 2022 a lot of jobs are now remote from home. I still have family that tries to show up unannounced. My family even showed up once with BBQ materials and kept interrupting my work. After giving them a peace of my mind I haven't heard from them in months...
I'm glad you got free of the spineless jellyfish and that bottom feeding creature
Damnnnnnnn that backfire real quick I love it
I love stories where the wife gets rid of the worthless mama’s boy, and his worthless mama (and papa), too! 😈
I'm glad Tori got away from that ungrateful bunch. I have to say I do like that the MIL had to eat her words and realize that she was very very wrong all the way around.
Yup, seems like the MIL became entitled and lazy. So many jobs now a days do ZOOM MEETINGS AND WORK FROM HOME OR OUT AND ABOUT. ALSO AS DIL SAYS THIS IS THE 21ST century. IT IS OKAY FOR MEN TO COOK, CLEAN EVEN TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN. AND ALSO NOW EVEN WOMEN MAKE MOR E THAN MEN IN SOME JOBS.
Good evening everyone. Why on earth do people think those of us who work from home have freedom to do other things besides work? Most of us have a schedule to work
Hello.
Goodnight over here!😁
My grandson and his wife both work from home, and they have a strict schedule and a baby!
Glad Tori got away from those people. People really need to stop looking down at others who work remotely. It's common now thanks to COVID in 2020 so really. It's easier said than done but really
Seriously! It is 2022! Wake up people!
@@tahmidtarique6077 right? Like I said, thanks to 2020, most people started working remotely. I never worked remotely cause I work at a restaurant but I bet people working remotely makes a lot of money then working at their work place
@@sarahader8118 Some people still don't understand in 2022. Especially working from home.
@@tahmidtarique6077 which greatly annoys me even though I don't work remotely. People really needs to get their heads out of their a$$ and get with the program of 2022
@@sarahader8118 Yep!
There are four people in the house and they expect Tori to do everything? When are people going to get that working from home is still working?
When they have the fantasy of wfH he has? Never.
"If I worked from home, man is ve taking 2 hour lunches and then a nice long nap." Paraphrased. Then after hubby does that more than once he'll be shocked when he gets an official reprimandor even fired. But if course he'd be stunned. Why? I should be allowed to goof off and play videogames all day instead of my work. Why am I getting into trouble. I shouldn't have to do but work when I feel up to it.
I'm assuming he'd be reprimanded or wrote up. I can't work from home I work for Walmart.
@@Mew_Mokuba_Akari Yeah, you definitely would. I’ve been working from home since the pandemic and I still have meetings and production standards the same as in the office. I wouldn’t dream of taking a 2 hr nap during my shift, lol. I mean, I might wish for it, but I wouldn’t do it lol
I wasn't even thinking of a housekeeper. When both mom and I were working (Dad was a 100% disabled veteran, but he handled the cooking, and he was a natural at it), Mom just hired a cleaning lady for a few hours every other week.
Just once, I'd like to see that the DIL stands up and tells the Mil that she could help as well. I mean, who the heck did the housework BEFORE the Dil came along. OP works 9 hrs a day and B__h wants her to cook and clean, just because poor little Connor works outside the house. Geezzz people, pick up after yourselves. You're grown ass adults!
Thank you all for your support
I know, right? I get so heated listening to these. Maybe it's because I grew up in a patriarchal family where my dad expected my mom to work full-time and take care of the house and raise the kids (9 of us) while he didn't work.
Yeah and the thing with MIL telling the DIL to do house work all the time, and they dont, seems to be a bit unrealistic, what did the MIL do before the DIL marry their son? Its confusing to me
@@vindamawarrose9500 - MIL sees DIL as her replacement as household slave.
@@vindamawarrose9500 the worse thing was, FIL &MIL moved into son and DIL's house, so she had NO right to be bossy to DIL
Maybe the MIL should, I don’t know, pick up after herself and her husband and wash their own dishes?
The MIL failed her son by not teaching him how to do housework and keep him on track to pick up after himself. She taught him to leave his messes for someone else to clean up.
The second I heard Martha call her grown-ass son a “child”, I cringed sooooo hard. People may get fulfillment from doing for their family, but it seems like she learned that she’s not one of those people too late in life.
Tori deserves all the happiness in the world. That family is horrible and good ridden
Riddance!!!
I like it when people get their just deserts.

You know, it's really weird to me to even think in the way these people do. I am the oldest of 3 siblings, I finished school and started work right away to help my mom, single mother. Now 35 years later, mom met a good man and has a nice life, both my siblings are very successful in their careers, I ended up disabled with little money, enough for me. I could never imagine thinking my siblings or mother should give me anything. I work for my own thank you very much.
The mom really insulted her son without even realizing it lmao, "a child" 🤣
I swear this mil needs to leave her son alone and let hi. Grow a pair cause she's gonna loose everything. Telling your son to deviorce your dil just cause you call her lazy when she works more then you're son but yet your won't even lift a darn finger to help. Way to go Tori you've grown a backbone to get rid of their pos family like conors family.
@@2xtreem4u but mil decided that she was to good after her baby gor married it fell to her dil which in some cultures its natural but not in the USA we don't do that.
Connor, Connor, Connor. I thought you were going to back your wife when this began……..
My Dad was a truckie and Mum also worked. They both did their share of the housework too. Trying to shove all of it on to just one person is asking for trouble. And then having a go at them when they can't meet your impossible to achieve standards? Get a life.
I love how the MIL kept going down by 10000 each time she begged for money.
If I had been making the money that the wife was making and mother-in-law was belitering her I would have thrown out the husband, mother-in-law and father in law on their behinds
I would take photos of all the places I visied and send them to Connor and his mother, showing them how much I enjoyed being away from them lol.
"Glad you're not here~!"
If anyone treats you as bad as the MIL (Monster In Law) treats the OP. Remember, you are loved by people that matter. I love you all.
With some of these stories having people who don’t understand that working from home is real work, it would be funny if someone thought that they were caught up in an mlm instead
Yeah he wants to work from home so he can goof off. Not realizing that he could get fired. But he'd never believe it if told
Connor, now 89 years old, tried tk pay a visit to her funeral service, only to have the cops show up and put him away for good for relentlessly stalking her and her family for decades, despite his tearful protests of longing for forgiveness.
I enjoyed the dogs in the background.
Martha: "And he comes home to a mess! Because his useless wife won't bother to lift a finger."
Tori: "Okay, bitch. I'm packing my bags and moving out. Since I 'won't lift a finger', you won't miss me, or my paycheck. Have fun doing all the cleaning and cooking by yourself. And paying all the bills, too."
I love how the OP basically dodged a massive bullet when it came to leaving her ungrateful ,useless , and Misogynistic husband no ex terrible mother-in-law, misogynistic father-in-law. because when it comes to both how the father-in-law and the now ex are behaving i’m happy the OP escaped from this toxic environment and got out earlier while the mother-in-law being a terrible person and not her own kind of realized a bit late that both her husband and her son were generally people you would not want in your life and her daughter-in-law was smart enough to get out of this sooner while she was dumb enough to marry somebody and stay with him, but taking her frustrations out on her daughter-in-law
"No way we can work this out!"
"I already tried to work this out and the only thing you could come up with was some selfish 'just do it so my own life is easier.' I even tried to work it out with you mother. You're both too selfish to work this out in a way that actually benefits everybody, so I'll just selfishly do what's best for myself and leave. I'm just taking a page from your book."
What's wrong with these MILs? Why is Martha viewing Connor as a child? He's a grown man. Martha needs to focus on being a wife to her husband and butt out of her son's marriage. Why is she so controlling? I wonder if she abused and manipulated him his whole life. Connor wants to hide behind his wife. Sounds like he's scared of his mom. I'm glad she's standing up to MIL instead of being a doormat like the other women characters. Victoria should have called the police on MIL. It's illegal to lock the homeowner out of her house. The MIL changed her mind quick when Victoria signed and submitted the divorce papers. LOL I'm surprised it took Connor an hour to call Victoria. LOL well... well... well. How the turns have tabled. Look who came back after getting a dose of reality with a slice of humble pie. So, Martha was miserable and took her frustrations out on Victoria. Verbal abuse is not a friendly conversation. He has a right to enjoy his retirement after all those years of working. Martha wasn't willing to help Victoria with the housework when she was married to Connor. Now, Martha wants Victoria to just give her money. Reality bit Martha really hard. Even the ideas she has been putting in her son's head came back to haunt her. Don't be in a rush to quit your job.
GOOD GRIEF!
I am tired of these people taking this so called "high road" while I loved Tori attitude of the Matter, she should've took some punches of her own! I wouldn't call it class or Grace but simply letting Karma take care of them! I would've let them know so I am suppose to work take care of the cost and the household! And since I do work remotely myself, I would've popped off being paid to work while home means I am doing work while at home doesn't mean I get paid to do my chores! People really need to Understand working from home means that! But Tori handled it and now she really needs to stop thinking she could boss her DIL when her own Husband and Son treat her how she was treating her DIL
I just cannot wrap my head around how many people do not understand what working from home means.
CONNOR IS A MOMMY BOY TOO AND CONNOR AND MARTHA WILL BE EATING THOSE WORDS NOW TOO
"...since Mom and Dad moved in..." Wait! This isn't a story where the couple moved in with the parents?! Man! That door would get kicked in so hard it'd spin in place!
By her logic she's a woman of the house too so it's also her duty to clean the house
It amuses me when the other party is shocked when their spouse signs and turns in divorce papers.
The amount of times divorce is used as a threat then when the bluff is called.... They panic
If I ever found out that my daughter's mother in law treated her like this, She would get one hellacious beat down!! That boy would be washed up on shore at low tide!!
Mother in law is just being rudeness and nosey to point in..
My mother-in-law exactly..she bagged, nagged, nagged on the same thing for years.. She doesn't understand why I should be career conscious.. I still cook and clean for him two times a day and make special snacks every now and than while working full time. She hates that I can't help around the house. She is constantly angry at me saying I don't care, while I keep doing house work to my max ability. She feels sad when she see my husband even folding laundry. She is constantly monitoring what he is given to eat almost every 3 hours when at home. My husband tried to talk her out of this behavior a 100 times. She just doesn't give up. Now she behaves differently in the presence of my husband and her original self in his absence.
And the house. The bathroom was always filthy in the cramped small house in which I don't even have a rack in a shelf to keep my clothes. I put up with everything but the filthy bathroom..
@91 rummy, I know what you mean. I had the same problem with my MIL until I received my college degree. I began making more money than her golden child son and that shut her up bug time.
Why doesn't she have a key to her own house?
If locked from the inside, the key won't unlock it from the outside.
That or she problems stepped out for a bit and didn't have her keys. Seeing as she only had her phone, she definitely wasn't prepared to be locked out
If they want all the housework done then maybe they do it themselves instead of forcing it on Tori
Why don't you live on separate ,without your inlaws.most married woman problems are the inlaws.
Momzilla in law deserve it and good for Tori. Seriously it's not easy to just sit up while doing research much on every computer or laptop because we can have eye irritation, back pain and etc.
If OP is the "woman of the house" and not the MIL, then where does MIL get off locking her out or lecturing her?
Connor is old enough to be married, have a job and vehicle (so also paying taxes and be approvals for loans which also means having an established credit rating of some type) and sign divorce papers … amazing how just a child can have all those grown up type things
This is a good example of karma coming back to bite the antagonist in the butt really hard. Damn!
MIL Martha is old and infirm with a injured knee , yet it didn’t stop her from promising her Ex DIL to do all the housework and cooking for her for $50,000 per year.
Why the change????
Never bluff if you're not prepared to have your bluff called especially with divorce papers
Martha lives in Victoria's, and Conner's house and she has NO right bark out orders in that household. She should be lending a hand and paying some board!
Hi everyone
Hi!
Hi..!!!!
😊HI OLIVIA ..🥰COLD AN SNOWY IN OHIO.
@@victoriaholt2274 Dang, I wish we got snow in Texas.
If the wife is the "woman of the house" why can't SHE throw out the useless MIL?
So what you're saying is he wanted her to quit her $220,000 a year job to be a housewife, well gee that's believable.
That family didn't want a wife, they wanted a free housemaid who would do what they demanded without any complaints or fighting back. Good think she jump from that misogynistic household. Now exMIL is eating her words and suffering what she put her exDIL went through, but even worse.
"Laze around all day with that job of yours"
???????
I do really appreciate these!!
What 😂 do they think 🤔 that it's 1950 or something like that 😄 my ma would never of let my dad treat her like that 😄 .
Still amazes me that people think working on computers isn't working..... Like ma'am your typing on a mini computer where somewhere in a far off place is sitting in front of a computer making sure you're still able to use it......
Connor = mama's boy
I would love to see one of these victims to tell their MIL to bugger off.
Immediately I question if Martha even has a job while talking down on Tori for actually not being able to do housework while working
Martha is clearly a lazy and sleazy good for nothing woman lol, she literally doesn't do anything while trying to force Tori to do even more, yikes
Exactly who did Martha think she was? She was a harpy. (@8:42) Her and husband moved in with them, not the other way around. It sounds like they didn't contribute anything financially or around the household, so why should DIL who works full-time+ be responsible for all house chores when her husband said he would help and then go back on his word?
Can't blame her for leaving. Would have loved it to have been her place before marriage so she could have kicked THEM out. 😂
🔬 nope still can't find their brain cells or any reason for Tori to stay must be so small that even microscope can't pick it up
nice another husband story 3rd
My Mom is 74 years old, lives with my sis. My sis only goes to her office to work once a week. Otherwise, she's on her com.
No one ever told her anything about what is WFH, she figured it out herself.
That really did come back to bite the ex-MIL. Hope her husband & son suffer as well since they deserve some punishment past losing the bread winner.
Maybe if the mom nags them enough it'll break them down enough to feel worthless so even though she's forced to do all the chores they know that they're doing worse off without the ex-wife who is doing better than them.
This reminds me of a reddit a and no I don't have a link. Wife didn't/couldn't accept that the husband worked from home. So she'd barge into his office while he was working. When he'd lock the door she'd knock until he opened it. Evey time she disturbed him it was for petty stuff. Open this jar or come repair something that wasn't urgent.
She'd even try to pawn their kid off onto him when he'd come out for break or something. I believe she was a SAHM.
He got fed up and moved to the basement. Where she then proceed to vacuum or do exercise or something to make noise. In the end he had to work in his car away from home because she wouldn't leave him alone.
Martha still sees Connor as a child? That's disturbing
Thank goodness...a daughter-in-law with a spine!!! I am a mother-in-law and have two wonderful daughters-in-law. I love them to pieces ❤ ♥ and they feel the same towards me. They are wonderful women, and I am so glad they are in my life. I could never imagine speaking to or treating them the way "Martha the witch" did. They are my daughters-in-law, but we are also best friends . They truly are fantastic women. I thought perhaps that it should be known...there are real life ---mother-in-law and daughters-in-law -- who have excellent relationships.
Good Afternoon All 👋😃
Goodnight over here! 😁
I want to see one of these stories where the DIL tells her MIL off .
So the MIL actually HATEZ the DIL because she believes she sees her son's weakness in the DIL.
That was a beautiful ending
MIL- I shouldn’t have to manage your household situation
Me- But she don’t mind managing their marriage/divorce
no Divorce is final in a day
Martha really went out of her way to harass, insult and belittle Tori in any and every way possible, didn't she? All because Tori worked FT, and didn't want to have to do all the cooking and cleaning around the house. Especially not for 4 relatively healthy and able-bodied adults who COULD help, but just... didn't want to.
So the fact Martha is now being treated the exact same way by her rude, lazy and ungrateful husband and son is just hilarious!
Karma, you hilariously wicked lil bish!😆
Oh how far the mighty have fallen. 🤭
Martha shot herself in the foot. I wonder if she would have turned on her precious Connor had Tori told her how much she made in the beginning.
Good 👍 story.
Instead of treating the DIL as a family , they're treating her as a property .
That's low
Another one of the same storylines
It's good to have this kind of mother-in-law.... providing the daughter-in-law an escape plan.
LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Wait, she was out of house and she also signed divorced papers her MIL had at home? HOW??? this is kinda plot-hole
I am a bit surprised about the divorce being finalised in a couple of working days, without a court hearing. Is this something that happens in America?
(Threatening people with divorce usually works out)
"Wait, ARE YOU THREATENING DIVORCE?" (rips away the papers, signs them on the spot and races to the nearest government building)
MARTHA LET HER EGO GET THE BEST OF HER TOO AND MARTHA KNOW THAT TOO AND MARTHA IS VERY FUNNY AND A JOKE AND A COWARD TOO
Hahaha finally, a protagonist with a strong, shiny spine! Tori handled it beautifully.
That dog in the snow,is so cute
If my husband ever went to his mommy to complain, I would divorce that man child the next instant.
If Conner doesn't understand what is like to be responsible adult...I think he was raised to be ruined until he was at old age.
Good story
