I was an Executive Chef for 30 years. This is my first year in roofing sales. Ive watched a lot of your videos, put a lot of things into practice and am on track to make $120k in 8 months. Your ideas work! Your training works! Oh yeah, I'm 59 years old and I'm outselling all the young guys in the company.
I would suggest the following. I ran Direct Sales in 17 markets in 10 states with over 300 D2D reps. Add the following: 3 neighbors-good; but cycle them for morning/afternoon/evening. Morning knocking from 10-1, afternoon 1-4, evening 5-7/Dusk. Hit each door 3 times in each time frame. Territory Management is KEY! You will build an amazing funnel. Cheers!
Love the video as always. It seems I was a little late to this one. Excuse me if I sound naive. Are you physically knocking on the same door every three days? How does the homeowner feel about this? I can only imagine hearing “I just told you no!!” lol
I like your metrics, 3 neighborhoods, 3-4 day spread. I’d love to hear some other feedback and see if anyone adds to this. I haven’t committed enough to the letters over time, but I can see it building positive long term production… just have to stick with it.
Hey David, I sure do :) Letters for storm damage claims (many of them), for retail roofs (many of them), translated into Spanish, and some material for Florida (in response to SB76). I also have new letters included in our Roof With Solar sales system. Details here: theroofstrategist.com/roof-sales or text DEMO to 303-222-7133
So let me get this right. Knock one neighborhood then the other the next day? Or knock all three that day and three more the next day and go back to the other.
Hey Adam! Thank you for this video. I had a great year at selling of the hip this 1st year, but want to make this strategy my main thing from now on. I have questions about researching neighborhoods. (I'm about 80% INS / 20% Repairs, Retail) My metrics that I base my research on are this: Homes build before 2009 Within a significant Storm swath Homes that are 3000 sq/ft and up What should be my distance when considering where to prospect? Thank you for all that you do to help us up-and-comers - RTT
Question about the Mailers, Has anyone found a way to make mailers more systemized? A website/ USPS/app to mass send mailer or has handwritten been the best proven method?
HI Adam, I am new in roof sales however not new in the sales field most of my sales experience coming from the insurance industry. My interest in roof sales is increasing to considering leaving the insurance industry and jump onto the roof sales. What advice would you provide to someone coming from other sales background that is beginning in the roofing sales industry ? great training videos by the way!
What's your daily d2d plan?

Hey Mike, this is fantastic advice! Thank you for commenting and supporting our kick-butt community. I really appreciate you!
@@TheRoofStrategist we applied this strategy in all markets which maximized income and time for all our sales reps. This works.
@@mikeharvey I hope we aren't in competing markets because I would really like to pick your brain a little bit more!

Check out Mike Harvey's comment here. He brought some great insight as well!
Off topic; but I love the espresso setup in the back.
Lol good eye my dude!
Can you give me a example of a letter you might send to a home owner??? Please 🙏🏽
As always, AWESOME info! 🔥
You got me ready to know 1000 doors a day I’m sooo ready
How many hours a week knocking would it take to get 3 retail sales. Not leads but sales. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated…👊
I found a very effective method for getting on other roofs is to have a colleague knock on doors as I’m inspecting the roof in the vicinity
Very good stuff
Appreciate ya man! Hope you are doing well!
Do you get different letters for different things in your package?

Where are you located ?

I think his whole thing with the mailers and letters is that the handwritten aspect sets you apart from mass mailers
DOPE marketing will help you swarm an area with mailers.
