Not so good for a master like nick... the paddling work is magnificent but the hand work isn't do good.. considering his abilities and the complexity of the song.. a better hand movement would be great for this instrumental like song... RIP nick

Sushil Khadka Agreed. The hand groove is way too simple in this up until the bridge. This song is boring to play on drums, but a blast on guitar (except for the verse riff, which is equally as boring).

Not everything is about the drums. Nick was dynamic thats what made him great. He knew when to back off and when to ramp it up

I agree with Randy here, it's not all about the drums or the guitar, it's about efficiency and group dynamic, that's what makes the band so great, they aren't just a bunch of dudes who just play their own things IN a band, they ARE a group and they act like one. Is the same as an orchestra.

Not all songs have to have complicated drums. In fact sometimes its better to have simpler drums. Nicks drum part fits this song perfectly and as long as the song is great to listen to (which this one is for sure) thats all that matters. You don’t need complicated parts to have a great song.
