Baz, I love your philosophy on work ethic, it drives me mad also when people don’t give a crap and then moan where they are in life! Great vlog as always 👍🇬🇧
Now that I got to watch all your episodes and chronicles I will be looking forward for the weekend . To watch you and no1 Daniel Ashville what an inspiration both of you are for the construction industry keep it up and best of luck for the coming yrs . Oh I watch from Malta .
Thanks for the amount of content that you give us Baz it’s much appreciated and as for the new lorries they look and are top notch. I always loved it when I received a new truck at work and they ranged from ERF, Leyland, Daf, Volvo and Scania.
Great episode again guys.. There's no excuse for dents in the bottom of any bucket, let alone a 6 month old Miller digging bucket, there's only one way that's happened. As for the heavy duty Strickland ditcher, yes I get it on a maintenance/money saving side, it makes totaly sense, but for operators who look after the kit and take pride in their work, they are the worse ditcher you could get, you can't seal up wet sticky material because it gets stuck to the wear strips and builds up underneath the bucket and they are terrible for trimming type1 with as the wear straps grab hold of the stone and pull it along under the bucket. Basically a bucket designed for mule ops. Keep up the great content guys.👊
Yet a nother great episode baz director and Callum the new welder faber great to see a lot of work coming in new trucks baby grab well got to go off to work keep up the good work and can't wait to next episode.with baz director and the one and only Callum good to see u all working hard can't wait to next week
Thanks for the videos, they are enjoyable to watch. It great when explain things. If you do a video on unloading the stone train, ask Freightliner to use locomotive 66413 as its the Fox company name on it. I don’t agree with your comment about people who don’t want to work their days off. Some of us have family which we want to spend time with, so 5 days working is plenty. I’ve just spent two days looking after the grandson, and what a fantastic time it was. If you are going to see them cut grass with the John Deere, wait until September-October when they cut the maize, it’s much interesting as they don’t have cover on the cutters. Thanks again
Thank you for yet another informative video. I am retired in Philippines and worked around the globe in fab/ weld/ pipefitting and facility maintenance. Keep up the good work. Respect
A firm I do work for weld fingers on one side of a cultivator part. They clamp the 80x80x6mm box in a arc of 3 " over 7ft weld the parts on and let the clamps off...comes out straight lol@@welderfabber
🤘😎🤘the rubber on that land rover will be its limitation, off road boots and it will be a different animal on the sites where the mud etc is shin deep 👍
A different culture ol son. I'm from north Georgia USA. I love your work and seeing the differences. I was a machine operator. Now truck driver. Thanks
When you stepped in the mud was a good bit of entertainment for the viewers...but honestly baz I didn't laugh 🙄😲🫡...well done team. You never seem to fail...👍👏👏
Nothing wrong with not putting all your eggs in one basket and having two truck suppliers to keep everyone focused. What kit suits one operation may not suit another and they all break sooner or later. I would have taken my time setting out those frames. I wouldn't want you bollocking me for getting them wrong. Good video Baz & Co, thank you.
Scania all the way for me. Recently had mine tuned up from s500 to s630, better on fuel and pulls nice through box in eco mode. Volvo, you need to have a word with yourself bout them exhaust. Shocking
I like “Welderfabber Blue” on your van and trucks.

Absolutely spot on about looking after kit like it’s your own, boils my p1ss when ones in my depot always in looking to get tools replaced (we get most of ours supplied) and the usual suspects leave them at their arse end then go bleating “I’ve no got a 24 mm ratchet spanner” etc, good to see young Cal getting on too, them Volvo exhausts are dog sh1t, they are on par with the bogie tie bar bushes on our class 390 pendolino tilting trains, the metalastic bushes are weak as a weak thing 😂
As always Baz something new to see and learn about as always excellent footage Director and amazingly put together looking forward to two videos a week .
On our wash plant where i work on oversize chutes we weld old rail track on the chute where the stone slides, this then lets the stone build up and stops wear as the stone is falling on stone all the while instead of on the rubber and metal parts,
Hi Baz yes Toyota land cruiser want some beating Alan Jackson had one for year's and year's and he gave it some stick in and out of all the quarrys etc it was always mucked up 😢. Great videos best watch on Saturday night tv 😊take care.
Thanks for your videos man. You're an great inspiration, a good model to emulate. Awesome work ethics; good values in general (at least the parts you show on camera :p), I just luv it
I’m just up out my bed and you have me laughing ,with it’ll be reet no it won’t be reet , baz we’ve all done it , it’s too early in a morning to have me laughing , I love the old lancs accent, you’ve got a good lad there in cal, he’s turning out to be a very good fabricator , brilliant blog today look after tha sen baz
I watch Alex channel as well, funny enough a little while ago i commented on his video as he’s old truck was a manual rather than auto etc i will be interested to see haw he gets on with the automatic box . Another great episode i think you need to put a welder fabber micro phone cover on your new microphone… fabber news… 😂😂
You are so right Baz, if you've been given a machine worth thousands the least you can do is look after it . I've been driving truck's 20 odd years and I can't stand people who leave their cabs like a dustbin there's no excuse for it.
would you be better getting a volvo A35G rather than putting greedy boards on an A25G as the skip is designed in a way to only carry max weight for that truck hence that voids any warranty
The high speed clips of the welding with Cal… suggests a new craze of “Strictly come welding “. Choreography in photography. Don’t see any Welderfabber knee protectors in your merch line just yet. Hi-Viz knee protectors… there’s a thing ..
An hour well spent (2 brews 👍🏼 ) watching some real interesting and varied work Baz. On the Volvo exhaust thing Baz …if you don’t keep bringing it up then Volvo won’t do anything about it 🤷🏻♂️ Your solution of moving the tank back to me made perfect sense as the money saved shortening the Exhaust tubing would more than likely save them the cost of a quick reshuffle and design over a few thousand units. If you pride yourself on the claims of being a top vehicle manufacturer (which they do evidently with the cost of their kit) then you would hope and think any type of constructive criticism would be gladly welcomed. The guys who design these vehicles are seldom found to be either working them of maintaining them so you would think any solution to a design error would be and should be gladly welcomed from such people like yourself.
Hahaha, Drew only watched me in because we were concerned about the lights, there is a good deal of road safety tech on that 590 but the most useful thing is the extra windows 🤟
Curious how come you guys as the welder/fabricators get the jobs of sorting out lorry sheets / moving 5th wheels, id of thought that would of been a truck fitters job?
Just watched your latest video You said the company is buying new Volvo trucks and in the past you’ve had exhaust problems surely any feedback you can give Volvo trucks is a good thing Also you’ve talked about fitting a straight pipe behind the cab couldn’t you do this in house with out involving Volvo trucks
New trucks are great but what about the lads in the fab shop when will they get new gear and yes to 2 video a week hopefully a mid- week and a Saturday
2.5K For a new frame for the machine in the Isle of Man you have just spent that on transport/ Labour and material how much per hour do you calculate your Labour on it is not always cheaper to do it yourself
2.5k to buy the frame then ship it to the Isle of Man! Or £800 to fabricate a frame then shop it to the Isle of Man. Do the maths, much cheaper to fabricate!!
I like how you promote autovolt, we see it every week but you dont ram it down our troaths every 5 min. Credit to you for that.
I only use sponsors I approve or would use myself, turned down a lot.
Every one needs a Dave Scott in business good at his job and cares
He's the best at what he does
Great video everyone. Brilliant .... I wait for it to come out every week . Real life , real work .
Great Team work! Use the tools you have and you’ll always have what you need. Peace.

Scott, 100% agree with you on everything you've put in this comment. You're obviously a proper operator!!

Busy Boys Bazz, surprised you never had a third trestle in the middle on that long box fab job.
they always bend when you weld, watch next week to see how they come back.

Volvo, you need to have a word with yourself bout them exhaust. Shocking
Bazz could resign his own better than the original volvo ones
That fifth wheel didn't need to have a fog clip on it. The spring loaded auto lock covers you.
its like ground hog day with these Volvo exhausts the lads are bound to be good at doing them now
Woo that time of the week welder fabber 😊
Great video, and yes enjoy seeing you do the work.
Great video this weekend especially to see all the lads there cheers

Yes, good video again and what a good price for the job on the bench I just wish I was in good health and could do what I want to do, but that's life.
I wonder if you can get a Land Rover Chassis/Cab and make it into a work truck like the US plant guys have? Proper thing!
Great video bud well done stay safe all..👍👍👍👍

Sure is!

New Scania has the MAN engine 🙌. The last of the real Scanias was 2018. Now they are just a name.

Hi Baz, love the content, quick question what are pro's and con's of cone crushers compared to jaw crushers
Wat year r t trucks ur selling
Weld Fab great work. Shouldn't the 2024 Scania have more assisted technology to help the driver back into the hitch. Camera, flags, lasers? JM/Canada
Hahaha, Drew only watched me in because we were concerned about the lights, there is a good deal of road safety tech on that 590 but the most useful thing is the extra windows 🤟

Concrete shutters mate

Wea are short staffed at min so we jump in whenever necessary mate
never seen a double drive tag that lifted up
It does, I could also run both axles on the road (but it is advised not to for long periods) for a small looking truck, it’s plated to 100 tonnes 🤟
Another fine episode!
