The dogs power their own treadmill, similar to how a hamster powers it’s own wheel. Great for high energy dogs so they don’t get restless and destructive.
They can run as fast as they want. If they wanna go at the speed of blue harness, they can. If they wanna just walk like that one, they can. It’s not electric, the dogs power it themselves. It’s good for high energy breeds like pitbulls or even herding breeds to burn off some excess energy so they don’t become destructive or aggressive. They’re probably timed on how long they run so they don’t overwork themselves. Not every dog is a chunky couch potato, working breeds need a job, even if that job is bringing their owner a ball or running on a mill. I intend to build one of these for my own dog as she always wants to run, especially when placed in her pulling harness. It’s not cruelty, cruelty is not getting them exercise.
