Just a heads up - they built twig over your vending machines to prevent sales, allowing them to raid and not lose sulfur to sales when they eventually hit you.

Protip: use the conveyor system to filter only a minimum amount of ore for the largest sale, into your vending machine from a storage box, so that it looks like you only have one sale's worth of ore in the vending machine. In reality, when a sale happens, the scrap would be put into your TC or storage, and the ore from storage would filter in just enough to fulfill the next purchase.

Can you connect the industrial pipes to vending machines? In theory you could automate it to only put in a few sales worth of sulfur in the vending machine at a time and transfer the profits to an armored bunker if you wanted to be super sweaty about it.
@@Andyxd easy to do and it fits all in a in two triangles foundations pixel-bunker include a large box to skim of the profit e.g. 200 sulfur for 300 ore
you could use a system where you fill the entire vending machine with for example 1 scrap in each slot, and leave 6 slots open for metal frags, where the vending machine is constantly getting fed frags from your furnace, but you do not have to worry about it filling up and looking suspicious. This way you can leave it for potentially a day or two and not running out of stock, depending on the amount of ore you have. This approach can obviously be applied to any resource. I hope this made sense

There is a trick i been using for a long now as a shop seller. Since you can give vending machine a name, before i log off i type LOL RAIDED into it and place a water bottle asking for 999 scrap.
if you have spots for vendors I would like to rent one. My first wipe ever I got a box of scrap from selling goods. I really enjoy the job and people you meet in person negotiations. Just need a machine and shop front to work from. Love the series.
Great video man. I don't play myself, but watch a lot of Rust and you've got a nice and relaxed farming/trading approach. Very refreshing to watch. I do a lot of trading in games, and I've got a tip. Instead of being your own supplier of goods, you want your vending machines to do that for you. I don't know the economics of Rust, but the principle is that you want to sell A for B and B for A, where both deals are nicely to your advantage of course. That way you gain both A and B, which in turn you can sell for Scrap. You can do that with all kinds of items I figure, because there's bound to be a lot of people with their pockets full of stuff that they just raided, but don't really need. -edit. Hang on.. is that included in your Shopping Mall video? Gonna check that out next!

I found clans semi adopt you when you sell sulfur. Got invited to 3-4 raids, and they left my base alone entire wipe, plus came running if i sent message. Was a good wipe to get all bps in prep for the next one
You could have atleast upgraded your vending machine compartment to metal from the beginning to make it 4 c4 (8800 sulfur) instead of 2 c4 (4400 sulfur) and also move the boxes to your core or behind a door or something
Using fire arrows on bear to make low grade to make Molotov to break TC instead of using fire arrows on TC made my head hurt. I guess you at least you have the BP for next wipe.
this is kind of cool i think imma try as well since i mostly just berry farm i end up with tons of sulfer and gp at end of wipe. also the 60 list item is pretty cool im a newer player so the list for me will be like a price guide
i always sell sulphur but i take precautions, i refill it more often and keep less sulphur in the vending machines, i make the amount of sulphur in the vending machines less than the cost to raid, so even if they do raid it i know they're stupid and won't get any profit
Tbh farming with nv during the night is not that bad if you're going for all the nodes. It is very difficult to tell where the stone nodes are and where the sulfur nodes are, because they look exactly the same with nv. I'd rate it 7/10
I tried selling 1000 cooked sulfur for 110 scrap, no one wanted to buy for over 12 hrs so I decreased the price to 100 scrap and I instantly sold it lmao
