The “yellow grass” it’s called path block. It can be collected using silk touch. (Only in Bedrock) And made by left clicking on grass with a shovel. (However it only works on grown grass, you can’t make dirt path blocks)
Hey! A really good way to know if that gravel falls is by just putting a block on the gravel, i have seen so many speedruns fails where they fall via this falling gravel.

You can get grass path by right clicking on any type of dirt (coarse dirt, farmland, etc.)with a shovel or mining a block of grass path with silk touch. Also, grass path isn't a full block, so you can fool your friends by putting a hopper underneath and throwing your valuables on the grass path.

I think they fixed the dirt-grass thing in 1.17 as well as the PS4 addition calls it "grass path" but you can call it what you want.
