- I really wanted to progress my skills on my mountain bike trip to BC this summer. I ended up pushing my comfort zone just a bit on a few features. I haven't been hitting many gap jumps recently. So I managed improve my jumping skills over 3 day and had a ton of fun riding my Specialized Stumpjumper.

Nice to see you improve on that jump line at the bottom of Boulder. It's a lot bigger in person than what the video makes it look. I was there at the beginning of the summer and also improved a lot while riding Boulder, it's so steep!

@@GoodTrails Same, I'm backed up on editing. Procrastinating watching mtb videos. Just picked up a 2020 Ripmo AF, and all I want to do is ride now. Been getting rides in despite the weather, but I hate winter.

This was a sick’s jumps and good progression i just follow you to give me confidence i just start to do small drops i don’t think i manage this kinds on jumps maybe on my dreams,,,, i 47 years old and the bone not stitch as when you are younger so i can not take a big risk. But keep doing this you inspired more people. I just installs the cushcore on my stumpy and feel really good..... sheers from Mexico. We had the same stumpy model

Friends, please guide me: I am inclined to buy a Stumpjumper 2020/2019, I am 5,8ft and normally ride an M bike, but I noticed that the Sumpjumper's reach is normally one size down (425mm instead of 445 for the M size). Should I get one size up (L) to have a similar reach as a normal M bike? ...or... Does the Stumpjumper somehow compensate the shorter reach?
I'm not sure exactly what bike is best for you but I am 5'10, I ride a s3 (medium) and it fits me perfectly! Good luck!

Do you have the fox fork with only 10cm damper? Because i have a sj specialiced.. Don t relly know where the limits are of the bike. I haven t really tried downhill..
Im not sure exactly. It is a 2019 fox 34 rythym. I think it has a grip 2 damper?

@@davidsch6490 I have kept in high to avoid pedals strikes as much as possible.
Like your videos a lot! In my Opinion you really have to work on your landings, you come down very tail heavy nearly all your jumps! That makes it much harder to clear them nicely and to get a controlled landing with instant repositioning your bike... Think about it :)

Because alot of people come to my channel to see what I am doing on the Stumpjumper. It's by far the number 1 search term people that brings in people. I'll take the big boy pants comment as a compliment haha
