If you don’t know a lot of music theory, this is a great way to learn how to create chord progressions within the major and minor scale. I hope you enjoy the video and hopefully you won’t have to buy anymore midi chord pack 😏
Hahahha, that reminds me of a certain Tantacrul video about a certain company creating MIDI packs On a serious note: your video's help me achieve the opposite of what you re trying to show: I already knew how to do this, but I do not know the music theory names, so your videos enable me to learn the terms used! Very useful for me
Several things I learned today by watching your video: One, the Konkrete Kontrol keyboard; good choice! I have an S49 MK2, myself. Two, I did not know the Transpose option in the Inspector can do it for whole chords….what a hack! Finally, you helped demystify for me chord progressions! I knew instinctively over time that, for example, I-IV-V-II notates the general direction of the chords, but they are more specific, especially as you were counting up and down the keys…..that brought it together for me and now I know! Thanks for the knowledge and the tips; really helpful.
How does this differ from the “Chord Trigger” under the MIDI FX section? I saw RUSS use it in a beatmaking video of his, but I haven’t had much luck with it
Watch there be a unison ad on this video 🙄
There was for me first time watching haha
@@davidjohndumais the devil works hard but unison works harder.
