Ok, can I just say, I'm *OBSESSED* Somehow the way Caleb sings this (love u Caleb) just makes Alex seem more insane than the original version. Let me go into detail about my own interpretation of the song -The first thing, of course, was the range. I've always prided myself on my ability to sing super high with a fairly good alto as well. But then again: I'm a girl. But Caleb, man, he sure can hit those low notes as well as those high notes and I honestly am just super impressed by it. -"Now the turn is mine" creepy. -When he sings the line "A devil made from Heaven, sent from above", I'm not exactly sure what it is, but *something* about the way Caleb sings this line is always bone-chilling to me, whereas the original song did not have quite the same effect. Perhaps it IS just the concept of a demon from Heaven, but his tone also contributes imo -The first chorus in general, it really sets the first real moments where you can notice his anger -"So many experiments, so many mistakes, but I'll go all the way till I'M IN PERFECT SHAPE" I can hear desperation here, not sure if I'm imagining it but I hear it -"FOOOCUSS ON MEEE" I absolutely LOVE the way the music drops for this line. I agree that Caleb's cover is GOALS but I feel like the person who did the animation (puccargarukiss) copied their own video and changed Alice for a male amd Boris as well. I expected something different even if it was technically the same song. Still puccargarukiss did a great job on animating. It was fluid and natural.
