No one was picked as a trial player. Such matches require a player that no one knows and there's no homework done regarding them. So, by the time the opponents learn what to do with him, the game gets somewhat out of reach.
I assume dravid is not a fool, they keep in mind fitness issues for the world cup, they cannot bring all here and everyone gets sick :) sure they did not bring Shami and Burma here for that reason.. so no need to worry about these things.. Jadeja's los is clear with the 6th bowler option, when our overrated player Hardik failed :), still, India had chances if the catch was taken.. that might have given winning chances.. but anyhow win is a win .. a good game by pak..

Nawaz was able to play his innings this way because of Rizwan. He provided stability. Rizwan played perfectly, doesnt need to change his style to run a ball or something else.
That man plays his heart out for his team always. He get’s injured, pushes through the pain barrier and keeps on going for his country. Some people will never be satisfied but in my opinion, rizwan is nothing short of a treasure for our team, always there to deliver.

Pakistan would’ve finished the match an over early if not for the extra 8 runs Fakhar Zaman cost them lol. As it goes for India, they are a better team overall in terms of batting and fielding. But the problem is that they always get cocky and underestimate Pakistan bowling. For example:
Pakistan made 147 I think? in the first match. This should’ve been easy for India. Yet, Pakistan restricted them to the very last over and last ball.
India made 192 against Hong Kong, and restricted them to 150ish. Pakistan made 193 against Hong Kong and then restricted them to 38. It’s important we realize at this point that Pakistans bowling attack is just better than India’s. Which is strange because on paper, India is better.
India had an amazing start against Pakistan in the 2nd match. I was honestly expecting 200+. I mean these are IPL and world class players. But again, they got too cocky and Pakistan somehow came back and restricted them to 180. Now this is where India should’ve been smarter, I mean if you’re bowling restricted a team like HK to 150, did we really think we were gonna restrict Pakistan to 180?
The problem with our media is that we get too cocky and don’t take Pakistan seriously. Even Pakistanis admit their domestic structure, the amount of money they invest in cricket, and their players are just not at the level of India. But India just loves getting cocky and only look at the fact that they won the first match. We don’t actually read into the context of how we won, and how if a team like Pakistan can make us chase 147 in 19.5 overs, than this is a team that should not be taken lightly.
As an Indian my heart goes to the flood victims of Pakistan.🇵🇰

I think most ppl don't talk about Nawaz's fielding, he is gun fielder can field on boundary and within circle, release the ball quickly and have a good throw to. He is total allround cricketer.

To be honest, any team like Lanka, Afg, Aus, Eng, SA have the ability to chase down 180-200 against this Indian bowling. Except Bishnoi, no-one in our bowling generates awe and continuous wicket taking ability especially on a batting good pitch. This is why Pakistan is a better T20 side. They have batters all the way down to No. 9 and they have 5 bowlers who will easily find a place in the Indian side on merit and quality. When you are bowling at 135kph (Bhuvi, Arshdeep, Avesh) - then you don't restrict the batters in their decision making time. Compare this with 145kph-150kph of Pakistani Bowlers. We Indians really need to marvel at Rohit and Virat.
These two players can hit fours and sixes against Naseem, Haris, Shaheen, Hasnain - which isn't even possible in PSL!
Except these two, our middle and lower cannot handle raw pace.
Wickets win matches. This is why Pakistan always looks the better of two sides. They not only have pace, but also world-class spin, and 360 players who can bat all the way down below. A well-balanced, settled, talented and skilled squad who are fighting as a team to win and win.

I was shocked at the way India fielded towards the end of the match. Arshdeep could be excused for that drop because he is new to India vs Pakistan rivalry but what about bhuvi who conceded 19 runs in the 19th over to gift-wrap the match to the Pakistanis. But still arshdeep still tried hard in the last over when he had nothing in the bank to defend.
