Might be a bit late commenting 2 years later but theres always PPSSPP, a good working PSP emulator that runs well on Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, and Iphone, and it doesnt require a very beefy system to play it (Even a laptop or 200 dollar smartphone can run PPSSPP and most 3D games) Also I've played enough Ace Combat X on PPSSPP to tell you it works just fine on PPSSPP (and you can even add some graphical enhancements for higher resolution screens)

I was disappointed this game was never for console. Always wanted to see a modern take on Ace Combat 3. Might have to get a PSP just to play this one.
