Another thing, one main complaint I have is that I miss the fast paced part of the game. It being this slow would take some getting used to.

I think Twitter and a lot of other people are overexaggerating on how slow the game is, even pros are guilty of this. Give mvs some time, because there are bigger things to worry about this game then the pace imo
Theres a visual bug where it says your damage is higher than it actually is.
Tends to go away quickly .

My only problem with the game is fighter currency is way to hard to get. You have to wait a couple days to get any cuz they're all locked behind missions. I feel like you should get then through matches. Maybe 25 for a win and 10 for if you lose
That’s kind of the nature of f2p games, though. They make currency a real grind to get to kinda wink wink nudge nudge you to the shop to pay real money to speed up the process.
@Wolfboy107 unfortunately it is. And I've never liked it. If you just make an enjoyable game, people you buy the currency. I'm just saying give us a little bit of currency for each match we play. Doesn't have to be a lot, it just has to be a decent amount

We still don't have a proper custom mode with stock battles, infinite time, and just more options
We still don't have a frigin spectator mode, like wtf ? do you want you fighting game to go competitive ??????
They destroyed some characters core features like rick and morty.
Crashes, bugs, disconnects and so on.
I mean it was a given, they changed their engine AFTER a BETA ??????? Who the F does that ? that means you need another beta after your beta ? wtf
tbh the game feels overall like a downgrade. 2V2s are even less readable than they were
If you like smash brawl it's great, it's just way to slow for me personally. It also sucks HARD ASS that you have to buy every single character and you can't practice with then in training mode or play with them offline.

I feel like everyone saying "it's too slow" haven't played many matches or have been dealing with servers. As soon as you finish a few matches it feels great
Exactly, at first I thought it was a little weird but as I played some matches I realized that is soo much better like this
or maybe they just dont like how it feels, its not complicated
You know after you take a few bites out of a shit sandwich you start to get used to it and its not that bad.
The game is slow and feels awful to play.

Tips for Joker (NOT AN ESSAY LITERALLY A 30 SEC READ):
1: His glove is good for s-air attack mixups when over using the cane (special s-air), but otherwise use the cane since the glove can easily be dodged/punished
2: If your on the wall use his balloon (special up air), as it's his best defense for anyone trying to edge guard, paired with sig. balloon perk, the hitbox can increase in size and clip through the floor better than his up crowbar.
3: MIX UP DEMON can apply heavy pressure, zone, and has an on ground parry/combo extender with his neutral special
4: Can store a charge (charge cancel) between an on ground/in air armor break option. All you have to do after charging to the line is dodge

Slush, please ask them to revert the game to the Beta. You're on of the biggest MV content creators so your voice will have some weight.
This feels like a party game now. This doesn't feel like a platform fighter at all. There is no competitive edge at ALL. Please I really loved MV😓. The game will lose steam in 4 months if it's not competitive

so the game was slowed down because dodge jumping is punishing. dodge jumping takes 3 dodge metet and when all dodge metet is gone your dodges have no invulnerability. super bad disadvantage after that.
as for Arya I think they reworked her to be less TOD-y and more in tune with other characters gameplans.
Just an inch or two of zoomed out would be perfect. It’s way to zoomed in honestly. A lot more than it should be. No “Super Smash” type game is that zoomed in. It needs to back up just a tad.

Also supports are no longer a class it seems, they've been rebranded to mage characters.

Hey Slush, I’m an Arya main, if you haven’t figured it out yet you have to turn the other way before you do do the neutral air after doing the up special. It kind of plays into the Arya theme of “turn attacks”

my biggest complaint about the game is that they removed all the perks that actually had depth 😭 they’re all so lame now

Now it's just
"5+ more damage in air"

A lot of people have hopped onto this game just to start complaining about every little thing again I'm glad you can actually be balanced and see the brightside
not even getting a chance to try characters in the lab is just stupid.
They removed alot of stuff and added alot of gems variations for no reason, the beta was to make things better not worse.
Arya up special now combos more into side light instead of up light. also shes a lot better at killing with her ground moves
Slowing it down was fine but they went over board with it that’s the problem they need to up the speed now lol and I think I’ll enjoy it more
Theres a glitch where if u go into practise game and take damage then leave and join a real game it shows that you have taken the same amount of dmg that u took in practise but when someone hits you your health becomes normal again
