You’ve done Scotland and Wales you should do cornwall now as it has its own history before being conquered by England. You could do all the Celtic nations. Scotland. Wales. Cornwall. Ireland
Sorry, but you've got your racial distributions a bit wrong. Lowland Scotland was never Celtic, rather its always been Anglo-Saxon in both language and ethnicity. (The only exception was the former Kingdom of Strathclyde south of where Glasgow now is, down to English Cumbria, but they spoke old Welsh, not Gaelic.)
Doormouse Wales weren't conquered by the English, it was the Normans that took over parts of Wales...after they conquered England!!! 😂 Also, you would think a people who are still here after 2000 years of attacking hordes would get a bit of Respect!!!
It's unforgivable that people forget that in 1066 England was conquered and the English nobility was replaced with Williams most loyal FRENCH mates, the English were stripped of their lands and Williams descendants went on to do the same to other parts of the British and Irish Isles. If the movies particularly Braveheart portrayed the kings of England in this period with French accents maybe people would start to realise that the English were the oppressed and not the oppressors. But then again that would make the French the bad guys and that's not allowed to happen, gotta feed that anti English sentiment in Scotland and the rest of the world. The French stitched both the English and the Scots up because it was the squabbles of a French Speaking King of England and the King of France that set Scotland and England at loggerheads. If people needed evidence of the Plantagenets true nationality look at the hundred years war. It was a French civil war that the French speaking kings of England waged in France for control of their ancestral lands but also to try and get the French crown they had a claim to and of a country they had more in common with.
@@101MRSPICE William the conqueror was barely Scandi viking by that point, he was mostly French let's face it and so was the other nobility that took over.

also despite James I ascending peacefully his mother and Queen Mary de Guise did fight some wars with Elizabeth I, so some blood was spilt. Not to mention all the Protestants and Presebtariyans the English Queen Mary burned to death
Danny Miller you couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only was he invited to England, but he stated that gaining the English crown was an upgrade and he essentially never set foot in Scotland ever again. The Stuart’s also tried to convert the presbyterian Scots to Anglicanism. Basically like ever Scot who leaves Shitland he never returned and was pleased to leave 😂
Ironically, England was eventually absorbed by Scotland.
Idk who told you that but that is far from the truth. The UK is pretty much just England but with more autonomous areas.
"We need a king to rule our land" "Bruce is in command". Why is that familliar? "Sabaton intensifies in the background"
Where does Macbeth come into this?
Robert Jarman in around 300 years
Dylan The real Macbeth.
He lived a couple of centuries earlier.
The Historical Macbeth (Mac Bethad Mac Findlaich) ruled The Kingdom of Alba a tiny part of modern day scotland (Lowlands) and one of the many kingdoms in modern day Scotland vying for power, He only came into conflict with king Edward the Confessor of England when they both fought over the Kingdom of Strathclyde he died in 1057? just over ten years before the battle of hastings in 1066.
200 years before this
Been waiting weeks for this! 😂😂
Anyone know of the time that (during the plague in England) Scotland decided it would be a smashing idea to invade England as they would be preoccupied with the plague. The Scottish then invaded England, CAUGHT the plague themselves and retreated back to Scotland killing 50% of their native population 😂😂
Definitely seems like something we would do
Aye oops but frankly knowledge of how diseases spread back then was frankly pants so how were we to know that would happen?
5:44 and it's the crown that's in his sight
Frrreeeeddoooommmmm! You just have to love the scots.
great video
Are we going to see weekly videos again? What caused that hiatus in the first place?
Anthony Joseph Sostre shut up and be grateful he put in time to make a video again
Chris Diaz: But is valid question. :c
Cant wait for the sequel
Also, you would think a people who are still here after 2000 years of attacking hordes would get a bit of Respect!!!
Nada Barton true
this needs more views! :)
Not French buddy they are Norman French Ie Vikings same folks that also conquered England before 1066
@@101MRSPICE William the conqueror was barely Scandi viking by that point, he was mostly French let's face it and so was the other nobility that took over.
I love each episode begins something bad :-)
👏 Scotland
Auld alliance

“Meaning everyone died for nothing” Lololol
