it was not common before but it got introduced into some boxes, if there is a glowing effect around the gun inthe shop, that means u get more temporary drops
This system is in place as it always has been. This is the same system as it has been for the Fabrarm WSS10 and the similar box guns.
For the old box weapons (twm, ak47, fas12, etc) the drop rate is higher because they are not as good as the more expensive box guns, hence the higher drop rate.
In the past I have opened hundreds of fararm wss10 boxes and not got it perm but have it for 257 days. This system is the same as the other ones and it just counts as one of the more “elite” Warface dollar boxes.

Maxedout kinda makes sense because its not a Kredit box

When Crytek had the game. The trick to win permanent weapons from random boxes, was to log into the server late at night, when most of the players was offline and the servers was empty and was working better.
My.com company removed most of the top tier weapons from in game currency boxes and made them Kredit boxes. The only good thing they did was that they introduced the Legendary weapons because they didnt want to get flamed hard from their community.
If someone want to play a game where he can buy every weapon of his choice with 100% in game currency and 100% success rate he/she should try Black Squad.

Dude, this change was made long ago. They made a public announcement back then. Indeed they changed the boxing system; the chances of you getting it permanently has been dropped significantly. In return (to keep it "fair") they let you have it for more and more days. Just not permanent. I know it doesn't make any sense but hey it's my.com....

The chance to get a perm gun in a silver random box has been 0.1% for months, it's not a recent change. 0.1% chance to drop with a 1000box win limit, meaning on box number 1000, it drops 100%. Which is the exact same as gold weapons in Kredit boxes.
If I had to spend 7000 kredits on the atheris, which is a new random box (with smugglers card), would I get it

These new warface dollars boxes have a much lower drop chance compared to kredit boxes. It was the same deal with the last Fabarm they released for warface dollars box.

I got it for 150k WFD so its just luck man. A friend of mine spent only 75 euros on this gamr and already has most of the gold weps and regular one by opening 5-15 boxes.

The devs are probably repurposing random boxes from potentially dropping a permanent gun, to a random box that is more expensive than renting guns but providing a better time limited gun with a very very small chance of dropping a permanent gun. Probably the days of attempting geting a permanent gun is over and the devs are pushing us to be satisfied with getting a limited gun and shifting our focus away from getting the permanent guns. More money to the devs again.

Well thanks to all those people complaining that they have too much WF$ and ranting that WF$ are useless now we all have to pay for it by draining our little savings into this trap. At least I don't have to gamble real money so I won't complain too much :-)

Ah dude. The wf$ boxes have a much higher chance of getting temprary than k boxes. Oh and the chance of 30 days is 0.13%. You could have spent that 0.13% of luck on something else
