Five litres of white vinegar, two hand fulls of granular salt, a good squirt of washing up liquid. Put the washing up liquid in last after shaking the salt about to mix it up otherwise it will foam up and give problems. Apply this mixture on a fine warm day and when the weather will be fine for a few days, otherwise rain will negate the effect. Only apply to drives or walk ways otherwise it will kill everything quite quickly. We use this mixture because we have pets and hens in the garden and this mixture does not harm them.
Greetings from Norway. Thanks for a great video. I just got a Matabi sprayer today. Would it be possible for you to provide approximate ratios of the weed killer you made?
Further to my previous reply I am experimenting with brown vinegar as it is half the price of white. I will upload a video in due course to report findings.
Of course Allan but I am not sure if the spray could reach you from Worcestershire. I hope you and the family are keeping well under the circumstances.
Man, the filter is there to prevent solids entering into the system and blocking or damaging the unit, when you remove the filter and adding solids into the container, you are increasing chances of breaking the unit... also letting the sprayer fall when you try to put it... yeah, it seems you don't put lot of care into the unit...
I would not use strong acids but vinegar is ok. I use it all the time as part of my mixture to kill weeds around the property. The reason I don't use ready made weed killer is that we have pet dogs, cats, horses and welcome wild life to the garden. See my video titled 'Brown or White which is right'.
Thank you so much for showing how to attach the straps! The Matabi instructions are very unclear and the diagram small and dark.
