This sacred festival celebrates the victory of dharma (good) over adharma (evil) and honours ancestral spirits, who are believed to visit during this time. Bali is so much more than its stunning landscapes; its rich traditions and vibrant local culture are what make it truly special.
That’s why we’re so thrilled to be celebrating Galungan with a local family at our homestay in Ubud, immersing ourselves in the heart of Balinese culture.
