Tavares has been a steady and consistent point-per-game/30+ goal player for his entire career besides last year which was 29 goals and 62 points I believe. He is so professional and respectful with the media and his teammates. A natural leader. Sound familiar? Mats Sundin was the exact same way. Consistently a point-per-game/30-40 goal player and the best leader any team could ask for.
I have a tough time thinking of Domi. Sure, Max hasn’t been performing up to everybody’s (franchise, the bench AND Leafs Nation), but it’s different when it comes to Max. If it was any other player, we’d all be quick to beg Tre to ship him off. Max is actually the only player AND exec who was actually born bleeding blue. I don’t believe that anybody (including Shanny), has the clout to ship him off. Here’s hoping that Max’s engine starts turning over 🙏
