Wow, the painting from 1926 is amazing,
those were the days of art from the gardeners.
A huge undertaking restoring the use of this space, but it will be so rewarding.

I am so pleased you showed this walled area for vegetables and flowers. A wall does keep the pests out...my garden is much smaller and is just a bare stretch of lawn at the moment. I need to fence it in and put a lovely entrance first. Please update on progress. I like the idea of a nice glass house in the centre as a feature.

Fun to see this sort of IRL. I have just read Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, where she describes touring a kitchen garden of this kind.
