I’m glad Chris answered the question about his personal life the way that he did. It’s no secret that he’s very private about his personal life and he gets uncomfortable talking about it. Just because he’s a celebrity doesn’t mean that he can’t establish boundaries about his life. If/when he’s ready to talk about that topic, he will.

Why is it soooo hard for interviewers to leave Chris alone regarding his relationship status? There are many other questions they could focus on. I felt his emotional discomfort when he was asked that. Chris when you do future interviews, for your future roles, and if you're asked that question, shut it down quick like you were trying to do/did. Save yourself from that awkward feeling of uncomfortably. Interviewers don't need to know; only those close to you that you want to share with:) "Walk it off!" Lol!
Lol, as Ana said he did it to himself. He was the one who opened up that topic. The media blew it out of proportion with all their little analysis and trying to say their piece of mind like it is such breaking news. And in fairness to the interviewer here she did apologize. But anyway, at least Ana is here who keeps on reminding him “Dont offer that!”
to be fair, the interview immediately apologized...i think the press team need to tell the interviewers what questions are out of bounds so that there arent any awkward moments. I dont think the interviewer had any mal intent behind the question. It depends on each actors preferences, you are reading to much into it...

He did say in an interview that he was looking for the one. So this interviewer had every right, so to speak, to ask about that search. Then she apologized which she shouldn't have, since again, if Chris doesn't want people to ask about his personal life, then he shouldn't talk about his personal life, bless his heart.
Also it doesn't matter anyway, since I'm the one for him...

Why is no one asking WHY he isn't doing press with Ryan? I had a feeling they didn't like each other much just from body language and lack of direct discussion of how it was working together on the movie, but it's really weird that he's only doing press with Ana. Has no one else picked that up?
he doesn’t choose who to do press with is mostly the movie’s team
Based on scheduling it depends on whose available to do a full press junket and who isn’t. I believe Ryan is filming the Barbie movie so unfortunately he’s not available to be everywhere with Chris and Ana. I wouldn’t say they don’t get along.. otherwise they wouldn’t be doing a movie together, be seen in photos and be talking about their experience with each other.
Ryan is doing mostly virtual interviews or ones very close to eachother because he's in the middle of filming right now
Ryan is doing most of the press alone. I actually wanted Ryan and Ana to have interviews together too since they were in Blade Runner and also have way more scenes together in Gray Man. Ill just echo the other comments probably scheduling conflicts with Ryan still doing Barbie hehe. Unless they get invited in a show like Graham Norton, I dont really think they’ll have press junkets together (Ryan and Chris I mean)
They do like each other, you can see their little interactions during press. The reason is most likely because Ryan won't be doing much promotion due to filming that fever dream, Barbie. So, it's scheduling issues hence why Chris and Ana are mostly promoting it.
