Village Park was our to go Nasi Lemak spot when we lived in KL. Best rice, great sambal and amazing chicken..and SO FREAKIN' CHEAP! The price doesn't look like it's changed in the 4 years since we lived there.
And team durian, for sure. So good.😊

Definately a yes on durian !! I haven't had a fresh one in years since all of the restrictions. And that Nasi Lemak looked so good, haven't tried an authentic one yet. Have to look into when it's the coolest temperature in Malasia to visit one day. Hope you had fun on yet another food adventure !! ❤

Love these videos. Found you guys when i moved to Melbourne and was looking for good food spots, so thanks for all the good meals ive had here 😀. You should try "Keki milk bar"and "Khao" just over the road in the CBD. The chicken Laksa at Khao was awesome.

After trying this Nasi lemak at village park, go try the other one at Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu at Taman Tun Dr Ismail. I prefer that one along with their sambal udang..

Those wings looked fire! Technically they are both wings tho. In the bbq world the two parts are refered to as drums or flats.
Love your vids as always❤. Did you know most of the time you can request your preferred noodle type in your laksa? They usually default to yellow noodles but you can get mix meehoon or kueytiao too. Theres also a specific laksa noodle that's usually used in assam laksa. Hope you can try all the different types of laksa in Malaysia one day 😊.

FYI: Alcohol and durian are best not eat and drink together as there are cases of people having health complications or worst case scenario death as it is not advisable.

Sweeter durians would be udang merah for me. Musang King is known for being a bit on the bitter side with a hint of what westerners would describe an "alcohol" taste.

Rule No.1 in Malaysia, DO NOT EAT Malaysia Cuisine in shopping mall restaurant!!!!! Pin this comment up for the tourists who are coming to Malaysia. You can simply get yourself a tasty Nasi Lemak or Laksa among the streets. DO NOT EAT in a shopping mall restaurant!!!! They are overcharging for a cheap and delicious dish and still can't bring out the traditional and delicious taste to you. Have fun in Malaysia!!!

Malaysian are a bit generous. Sometimes too generous so the "scammer" take advantage. Mind you the that most of the scammer are foreigners or illegal immigrants (I personally have encounter few scammer that claim they are from Palestine (lie, they are Rohingya), they know Malaysian pity Palestine so much so they take advantage lol.)
