If you don't have a vise, I layed under my 03, put a bottle jack on axle and pushed bushing in, I also used a 9/16 construction reamer for drilling task, bout a hour job total. Put a small bottle jack on sway bar and you can line up the holes. Gravy job for us diesel doctors
I have a 95 4x4 that i spent a couple of dollars to up grade . I installed a 2001 front axle , 3 gen brakes, 3 gen t style steering, 3 gen track bar . I used the 2001 sway bar ..i bought the mood sway bar liks . Those pieces of crap did not last till the water got hot ..so this will work . I really like the locking hubs and timkins bears on the axle .. ..i appreciate your videos ..added 3 gen slotted rotors brakes to a 95 with hydrobooster stops pretty good
@@thoroughbreddiesel also when I called for technical assistance, I was trying to torque the top nut, which is at 10 to 12 foot pounds. The guy said just to do it to where you squish it down to words about 1/16 of an inch past the washer because you will almost never get a 10to 12 foot pound torque on that.
Why did BD decide to change the design of these end links for the 4th gen Rams ? These end links for the 3rd gen Rams have tons of excellent reviews, the New 4th gen end links have ZERO reviews,Why ?,they have been out now for aprox. 9yrs,no reviews, what happened ?
I’ve been thinking about getting them for a year now! Hard to justify the $250CAD for them while the OE replacements are $22 off rock auto and last Should have made it more relatable and everytime it buckled in the vice, you start saying curse words directly towards the link😂
Let me tell you , I have a 2005 5.7 hemi for 5 years now and I’ve replaced them 4 times and I’m done It’s dangerous Going down the highway hitting a bump and the truck moves to the right or left is scary I’m paying the money
You know their kind of Burleigh and they look strong but I think they should have went have your on the top bolt that goes through the sway bar. I'm like halfway tempted to throw some more metal on it with the Mig
My 2007.5 2500 end links don't look like those. Mine bolt directly through the swaybar, when I checked out your site it doesn't show that style. So how would I mount these on my truck, or does your website not show this style. Thanks.
I weigh 180lbs and was able to push the bushings in 3/4 of the way. Just apply the provided lubricant. You can get the extra 1/4 with a bottle Jack under your axle.

Will those links help tighten up any sway in the front end?
If your truck is like Adam's then yes.

Thanks and glad to hear your upgrades are making a difference!
Great video, I found it was faster and easier to press the bushing most of the way in
Glad it helped. Thanks!

I believe 90° 3/4 plywood will do the trick instead holding the socket, link and bushing.. that way is nice and flat compressing them evenly
The bolts should face separate ways on the end link. Look in the install instructions from BD
Hay that looks like it will fit my 99 Cummins.
Well that particularly part fit on a 97 2500
This part number only fits to 2000.
Very nice thanks for the install video much appreciated
Amazing thank you!! B
You bet! 🍻
I have a 5.7 hemi I’m going to install these on Ty

I don’t have an answer to that. We will install a set and let you know!
Very nice product 👌🏻

It’s dangerous
Going down the highway hitting a bump and the truck moves to the right or left is scary
I’m paying the money
They may want to include a bit of all thread few washers and nuts to press those in.
Why wouldn’t they come pressed in ? Lol
So are the bolt hole on the bottom big enough to not have to be drilled on the o6 3500?
Shouldn’t have to drill on a 2006
Anyone else think that when they were doing the top at 12ftlbs it was squishing a lot before it clicked
If I had only saw these before I replaced the ones on my 2004 ram 2500. I would have paid the difference in price
Do u make them 4 1989 ram 3500 2 Welles drive
No, not at this time.
You know their kind of Burleigh and they look strong but I think they should have went have your on the top bolt that goes through the sway bar. I'm like halfway tempted to throw some more metal on it with the Mig
Didn’t understand half what you explained
Was there alcohol involved??? 😅😅😅😅
We need to get you a new vise.
Dam jaws are missing lol
It's a stubbornness thing at this point lol
Are these for the front end, or the rear?
Front.
Getting ready to redo my 2nd Gen and I think you just sold another set. 😉.
Happy we could help!

Sorry I was thinking of another part. I just ordered a set for it.
Will they work on lifted trucks?
They make different lengths for lifted suspension
Yes, up to a 3 inch lift, anything above 3 inches will require the spacer block for the sway bar that usually comes with the lift.
@@thoroughbreddiesel is there a specific size spacer block needed for different sized lifts. Or just a one size fits all spacer block.
Can this be made to fit a 99 and earlier?
Well damn, I don't have a vise OR a neighbor with a vise lol

Good Day, what is the part number for 2003 5.9 4x4?
For the 03 it would be the same as the kit shown in this video, BD 1032050
How much ?
www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/bd-diesel-sway-bar-end-link/
I can see no logical reason why this product should not arrive completely assembled.
You're not wrong
I agree but they do increase understanding when assembling on your own.
Can you put those on a three quarter ton gas pickup??
Yes, as long as its for the correct year and model.
That's what I need to drive because they keep popping out sideways with the lice
