These are not even 1% of the dishes available in India and it hasn't even covered 1 specific city's food completely. Not everything is naan and there isn't only 1 variety of rice or curry. Curry is a collective word for certain variety of dishes. Wheat is prominent in north and northwest part of India, where as variety of rice (which also includes sticky rice) is prominent in southern and northeastern part of India. And India is not only about curry or Bollywood. It is literally stereotypical. Even if you take film industry there isn't only Bollywood. Bollywood is only for hindi language films. We have 100s of languages here and not everyone knew hindi and so we have various film industries in accordance to the language in specific regions. Next stereotype is India only has Hindu religion followers and they don't eat non-veg. I really don't get this at all, because this country is the birth place of nearly half a dozen religions. Not all hindus are vegetarian, we do take milk products and hence not vegan. We have the oldest history. People who think Mesopotamian civilisation is the oldest even now should update themselves since is has been already proved that Indus valley civilisation is the oldest. When people think we are unhygienic, they must also know that the even the basic necessities for the so called hygiene such as flush toilets, drains, bath places with changing rooms were there even during the indus valley civilisation. There is another dish called KAJJAYYA which is similar to HOTTEOK... We have a festival in south India called MAHALAYA AMAVASYA in september as CHUSEOK n we make meat dishes n offer to ancestors..
