Ivar Bpp.......I used to work with this guy [he was a really big fat slob too]. Every Friday, we would go for lunch together at the local pub which served excellent 'traditional' English food and he would always order the biggest dishes on the menu. He would then follow this with a really rich and filling dessert and creamy coffee. However, he would always refuse the sugar with the comment, 'I'm on a diet - I'm cutting down on sugar'!! Made me smile every time!

3 things l love about this channel: 1. Seeing Leeds again - my student stomping ground from decades ago - great memories. 2. Slight guilty "Muckbang" pleasure in seeing someone eat foods I rarely if ever, permit myself to indulge in. 3. Danny - he's so easy going, great to watch and it's rewarding to see this all-round nice guy thriving on social media. I'm now hooked and will happily watch you explore different towns, cities and countries. Good luck to you, mate. x
i keep doing the math to $$$ at all his stops, and i am blown away by how affordable take away is in the UK. What he ordered in this video alone would be at least $32 plus tax plus tip. Thats a good $50 in the USA.
Tried this out two years ago. My son was at Leeds Uni and he had discovered this little gem and took dad along. Thoroughly enjoyed it -well worth a visit. Cheers.
I love a ‘greasy spoon’ cafe, you get some hilarious characters sitting in them, I listen in to old guys chatting over their bacon rolls and tea, sometimes it’s better than tv comedy

Just say can I have a breakfast number 1 but can you make sure the yolk is hard. Had to do it when the misses was pregnant cos she wasn't allowed soft yolk. Living down south it's unlikely I'll ever visit any of these places, yet I've just spent a good part of this afternoon thoroughly enjoying watching him eat and talk. With no highly paid presenters and what must be a tiny budget stretching only to a camera (with a naturally talented cameraman), folding table and chair, the irrepressible Danny never fails to produce something very special, offering a clean, genuine entertainment that I'm sure TV stations can only dream of. This is what "reality TV" should be like.
I am six feet , six inches and 17 stone but if I ate that loaf of breakfast I would have urgent need of a hospital cardiac unit. I can feel myself getting heavier just watching this video.
I like his videos. But I am worried he's not going to be able to do this for too long. Those meal portions in the UK are American or Australian size now, orders for one person are enough for my whole family of 4.
The fact that theres a wasp just trying it on with him whilst he is wrapping up the video and he does not flinch one bit is absolute stud unit material

As a Kansan, I would want to add Sausage Gravy to that Bread and Breakfast loaf thing. To people in the UK drink orange juice or milk with breakfast? A nice glass of milk would go great with those pancakes and a class of orange juice would be fine with the Loaf Breakfast.
Drinking milk or juice is definitely less common in the UK. You can definitely still get juice everywhere breakfast is served but it is very much an American concept for us. Remember we don't have any domestic production of oranges. And milk, never. Milk is put in tea or on cereal, and cereal is really for children. The concept of drinking milk is so weird in the UK that most places don't have a method of charging you for it. Milk will be available in jugs to put in tea or cereal but there will be no price band on the till to select if you pour yourself a glass. So you can usually drink milk for free as long as you get something else at the same time.
Thought I'd give you an Americans tip on pancakes. We either separate pancakes and eat them individually adding butter and syrup to each or we leave them stacked and butter/syrup each layer. That way you don't have a dry area while eating. Another tip you may enjoy, adding a couple eggs, and also bacon too if you like, to top of pancakes.
Reminds me of a place in Brum, the Albion pub, that would do a chip buttie, which would be a farmhouse loaf cut down the middle with a load of chips in the middle.

Blimey! I am from a Yorkshire farming background originally and know all about big northern meals after a hard day of work but am still astounded by this channel. Now I work from a desk and to keep my weight down I eat a small breakfast, a normal lunch and a few nuts or a biscuit in the evening. I think I might have gained weight just watching this.
