7:30 that connector is sometimes known as a Sermos or Anderson powerpole connector. Many years ago they were used in RC cars a lot. Now a days the XT series of connectors seem to be the most popular for RC stuff.
I knew it looked familiar, I used to do RC stuff many years ago when it was still Crystal and not digital
