Oh man, I've always ridden flat boards and after almost completly not snowboarding last year I bough a camber. Sweet lord was I suprised how to initiate turns and power up ollies. Been 2 hard days of progress but it's well worth it!
I have a two board quiver right now and own a Megadeath and it is a beast of a board!! second board is a gnu Gremlin! Both boards are insane!!! I rode at least 60-70 boards in the last years because I am working as a Snowboard tester for a local shop. Overall, The Megadeath was easy on top of the list followed by two or three orhers which stood out of the mass of boards 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
I currently ride a regular Cafe Racer and a Superpig. I like laying trenches with my CR but I like the playfulness of my Superpig, which can lay good trenches just not as well as the CR. Would the Capita Mega Death be a good addition to my quiver or a replacement for one of those two boards?
I've got a Salomon HK 2020 and the board is nice and poppy, but the edge control absolutely lacks in harder carves. I'm thinking of a snappy mid flex or slightly stiffer twin/directional twin, that would allow me progress in the park (coming on small/medium jumps and some jib features), but would really like the board to hold the hard carves. Basically I'm looking for the most versatile gun out there. Thinking of the Capita Resort Twin, Nitro Team or maybe staying with the Salomon HK, but the 24 or 25 model. Any other suggestions?
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks! Forgot to mention that I've been out for a Burton Custom. But they are fairly expensive and very rarely on proper sale. Any thoughts on the 23/24/25 Burton Custom?
I feel u I might get it nex the mega death next year in payments still paying my mega mercury which I totally love best bored I've ridden but I haven't ridden alot
angry, I am 155lbs and have a 155 mega merc, I love it and wanted to get a party wave + to seal my quiver... cant decide between the 151 and 148 in party wave +?
Pumped to see the ravine select on the list, looking forward to the full review even though I already bought one for this season. Thanks for all the hard work Avran and team 🫡
Well it's a true twin first of all. Then it's got better snap, edge hold is different and a bit more calculated since they changed the shape. Fuck it, it's just a better board in my opinion.
@@Bamboozler33 Why not? I couldn't find any information about the brand or board in regards to views. Thanks in advance. It just seemed like a decent board on paper
Forum boards are just capitas for more coin. Watch a DOA review and there ya go. Used to have a Youngblood too though, great graphics, mid performance.
Been watching the channel for years now; somehow I seemed to have missed why there is always a complete omission of anything Burton in the last couple years. Curious what the story is here. I know there are some real Burton haters out there for whatever reason and there are a lot of great options but seems like it's somewhat intentional that there is never a board or binding rated anymore.
Burton's in the midst of an identity crisis ever since Jake died and can't figure out their brand direction. One of the consequences of that is them jerking around product testers like Avran with getting them product and being afraid of a negative review and he finally had enough of it
same...riding last year's bsod which is incredibly awesome, and probably would have similar reaction as avran's riding the megadeath (or even the megamerc or regular mercury)..."jfc, this is really really good...."

How do u find the Algorythm?
I backed over my hucknife pro end for end, bindings down in my 3+ tonne truck. It didn't break and still rides well. Tough board
Tougher than a toddler, thats for sure.
I just got a megadeath paired with Falcor bindings...cant wait to go try it!
Thanks for this video - great job like as always ;)
Short question - Burton Custom Camber or Capita Mega Death for daily Europe Alps driver?
Cheers!
Those are two entirely different boards.
I really want the Rome Agent Pro.
Will they ever make smaller sizes in the Mega / Black Snow of Death?
Ask them not me.
I currently ride a regular Cafe Racer and a Superpig. I like laying trenches with my CR but I like the playfulness of my Superpig, which can lay good trenches just not as well as the CR. Would the Capita Mega Death be a good addition to my quiver or a replacement for one of those two boards?
It fits between the two of them and could be a more dedicated cruiser deck for groomers.
Thoughts on dancehaul vs dancehaul pro? Is it worth the extra 100 bucks
It's a little stiffer and a higher end base, your call.
im 145lb on a 147cm dancehaul... if I could time travel, I would get the pro.

Resort twin.

great video! love my mega Merc and my next purchase will be the mega death!
Imo the YES standard unic should have made this list. Still a great vid.

48 unless you really want to charge.

They only changed the graphics for 2024. Go check out his review of the 2023 Ravine Select. I love this board.
What are your thoughts on the Burton Mystery HTH vs the regular HTH. Thanks
You might be new here but Burton ain’t welcomed in these parts 😂
Burton is trash, don’t buy
Overpriced.
What is that boot with orange and black at the front... thinkijg to grab boots wen season end special comes
You want a toeless boot?
Tell that Rossignol Rep to send you the Super Sashimi! man that board looks amazing...prob rides well too!
It's just a male version of the After Hours honestly.
@AngrySnowboarder so Rossi did listen to you
Could you do a review on the 24 capita super doa?
No.
That mega death a good upgrade to my Aviator 2.0?
Figured the Ride Deep Fake would be on this list (pretty much beefed up version of the Shadowban).
No it's not, that's the Algorhythm.
@@AngrySnowboarder ahhh good call.
@@AngrySnowboarder Ride Deep Fake or Algorhythm for an aggressive step-up from a Capita Mercury?
More freeride Deep Fake, more all mountain freestyle Algorhythm.
