The crowd had booed her because the press had reported before the show that Silvia allegedly said she hated the Greeks and thought they were ugly. The absurdity of her act went beyond her performance alone; before Eurovision she harassed Treble when they visited Iceland, cursed at the production team during rehearsals, and of course had her iconic meltdown with the press when she didn't qualify. The best Icelandic performance EVER! Sylvia was a steriotypical, fictional, satirical TV character performed by Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir. She was supposed to win, but got judged by her looks and her attitude. Shame really.
Yes, perhaps she should have been a bit more professional and get to the finals. But then that would not have fitted the character that Ágústa Eva was playing ;)

Definately it is the best Entry of Iceland. Most humorous and best piece of autoirony in ESC, so congratulations. Sadly, it did not qualify to the final, but Lithuania was supporting this entry in the semi-final.
