I'm in the minority who thinks Prisma is a lot better than Apocrypha. It's at least fun and has good characterization (I prefer this version of Luvia, Illya, and Bazett). I'm a little surprised he did Kuro's theme. This was an epic surprise.
I don't think that's a minority opinion among the Fate fanbase, actually. Prisma can be incredibly cringe, but that's par for the course for the series. Its good moments are fucking incredible, and like you said, the characterization is impressive throughout. Whereas Apocrypha... well, Mordred and Shishigou were cool.
