amazing álbum 10/10 BMP (╬▔皿▔)╯Ante-Inferno stays true to the style of its predecessor ("Antediluvian Dreamscapes" 2022 álbum) in its forays into depression and hopelessness. The direct and angry black metal is complemented by atmospheric elements and the vocals, ranging from whispers to screams and growls, even have a slight folk touch due to their rhythm and layers, for example in “Towards Asphyxiating Darkness”. ANTE-INFERNO setzen auf nahtlose Übergänge zwischen ihren Songs und versuchen, jedem Song genau das zu geben, was er braucht. Egal ob das nun zweieinhalb Minuten dauert wie beim epischen Interlude “Into The Eternity Of Death“, bei dem der Hörer kurz aufatmen kann, bevor die erdrückende Dunkelheit zurückkommt, oder 14 Minuten wie beim Epos “An Axe. A Broadsword. A Bullet“, das von wütend bis melancholisch reicht und das Herzstück des Albums bildet. “Death’s Soliloquy“ ist vielleicht nicht das überraschendste Album des Jahres, hat aber viele starke Stellen und besticht vor allem durch ein stimmiges Konzept, die Hoffnungslosigkeit des repetitiven Instrumentals und durch die Emotionalität und Direktheit der Vocals. So dass ich vermute dass du entweder selbst Musiker bist oder sehr genau weißt wovon du sprichst weil dich der "Black" genauso lange begleitet wie mich. Genau wie vielleicht Du halte ich nichts davon einem Album vorschnell das Prädikat "Best Album of the year" überzuhelfen...Aber du hast recht es überzeugt durch ein sehr stimmiges Konzept!...Aber was für mich sehr wichtig ist, wenn eine Band, ein Album, gerade genau das einfängt und beschreibt was man in diesem Moment braucht, was einen beseelt, dann ist alles getan!
