God has indeed hidden His wisdom from the learned, prudent, wise. This learned brother is illustrating this and is seriously mistaken in multiple aspects. Jesus came to DELIVER us from sin and MAKE us righteous and holy and keep us from stumbling because without holiness we shall not see God. If we BELIEVE this, and receive Jesus to deliver us from ALL sin, He shall do according to our faith in Him and His word. If we keep on sinning, we keep on crucifying Jesus who came to deliver us from those sins.
