    As always a wonderful new episode from the master. Thanks for sharing. I think you should hook up with (Kate Raworth famous for the Doughnut economic model) she lives in oxford I believe, as you are showing the value of restoring and reusing instead of buying new things. There is value in teaching and executing on this model and you maybe helping show the many folks who just don't appreciate the value of restoring and reusing. If it is not a big issue, it would be nice to be able to see your workshop and the tools and organization of them. It is nice to see something that is positive in these times where fear and xenophobia are on the rise. Keep it up mate..

    Selfishly, my Wife decided to have a heart attack last week. We were both surprised to find out that she even had a heart, lol. Seriously though she really did have a heart attack, and had to have a stent fitted. You will be pleased to know she is back home and feeling good now, so I did not have to go too many days without a hot brew. Great work, love your videos ! 2 remarks if I may : when applying teflon tape
    - it is recommended to make about 7 windings
    - it is to be wound in a counterclockwise direction, so when you screw in the part, the teflon is not loosened but tightened
    - the excess is to be cut off so it doesn’t end up in your equipment’s innards after a while

    Quick question, sometimes you use paintstripper before sandblasting but this time you went straight to sandblasting, is there a reason behind this or how is the procedure for this? Thanks and great job!!

    • @RRCRestoration
      @RRCRestoration  4 года назад +1

      HI, Nice question im glad you asked, If a paint or powder coat is particularly thick or tough i like to weaken it with paint stripper first to take the strain off of the air compressor and the blast media, using paint stripper first means i can blast at a lower pressure and save wear on the compressor and blast media, for small items like this there is no need to pre- weaken the paint.

      I wish he showed how it worked or didn't work, too! However, from the brittle air hose he showed during the build half, it likely didn't work too well.

      Hi, @fletchro789 was correct in mentioning the air hose, this had broken into several pieces stopping the air from reaching the ball bearing chamber.

      Use it with different grit sandpaper to remove marks from a surface, and to give a smooth finish.
