Thx again for educating me on timemaster- also can you do vid. on bad ignition coil- I know mower will shut down when hot 🥵- but also will not turn off. Look forward to anything on this issue
You’ve helped me diagnosis and replace the head gasket on one of my flipped Timemasters. My big symptom was it would stall when engaging the blades. I flip mowers and and snowblowers, and I’m in North Jersey check out my tips, thanks!
Any idea why you think these particular engines eat head gaskets? Any thoughts on putting RTV high temp gasket sealer or something on when replacing that head gasket to get more life out of it? Or just get a newer model engine? lol
EXCELLENT OBSERVATION but also keep in mind I’ve seen valve cover leaks that stopped leaking bc they were caked up! Once you clean the cake miraculously there is a leak 🤣😑
.I knew the Head gasket on my Briggs and Stratton 19.5 over Head valve engine was the smoke coming out of the muffler and the sound of the engine was not right And the spark plug.was covered big time

poor design and there is nothing you can do about it! be grateful that it is a cheap and easy fix!
Could it also cause the bottom of the head to get really black and dirty???

I’ve never seen a muffler smoke out of a timemaster but you are correct!
@@pattayperformance thanks for your reply on my thoughts on this matter Pattay
For one the RPM’s are too high, governor setting is to high…!
The RPM’s are too high bc the Owner adjusted it to compensate lack of power 🫡
Once I replaced the head gasket, I reset the RPMS
@@pattayperformanceDo you set it around 3000-3100?
@@norge696 I set by ear 🤣
