not often I'm the first to watch a video. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing. Would love to wheel with you sometime, but my Willys is a 1958 CJ5, so round fenders. Thanks again for the videos.
These guys without power steering really need to learn to turn left or right when the wheels are trying to go forward. Stop rolling back then stopping, then trying to strongarm the steering. Let the motion of the wheels rotating help you steer. Another thing to learn is to bump the object you are trying to climb and adding forward motion ( More Gas ). Try watching the guys in southern Utah climbing damn near vertical walls. Yet another thing, Follow directions from only one spotter. Tell everyone else to shut their traps ! If a guy has already run the object you are working on climbing, he is likely to be the best spotter. I run two CJ2A's, One with the 134 overhead valve engine, the other with a SBF engine. They require different driving skills, but both are very capable of getting me to where I want to go. The SBF allows me to run taller, wider tires, But not the giant tires like the big horse engines. The 134 is pulling highway tread 15" reversed Ford pickup wheels.
Good trial, good jeeps, good guys and good friends, congratulations for all,
