Man oh man! I can imagine that this keeps the 'engineering' part of you quite busy Joe. What a project! Making no wonder you've not shown videos for the last little while, I'm sure we can all understand this now. :) Looks like it's a really good job, I am impressed by the 4 inch concrete pad THEN to have ( what we call ) 'paving/patio blocks' laid on top of this too,.. whew, I'm almost beaten out, just looking at all that work! LOL! Wonderful job!
This method of installing patio blocks (2½ thick) is going to last decades without significant deterioration. No weeds are going to grow through that, given I am going to put polymer sand in the voids. Moisture from the ground is not a problem too. Insulation keeps it from moving in winter. I've done that at my previous property and 10 years later, it was still looking like new. Thanks!
