    Bought and downloaded your lovely pattern. Made the pinafore in just a couple of hours... This is only the second garment that I have made and it turned out beautifully, the size 2T fits my granddaughter perfectly. Will be making those real cute bloomers today. Thank you from the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia🐨🇦🇺🏖

      Hello, i am also from Australia. How are you going with your sewing?

    • @julz63

      Alexandria Morton I’m sewing all sorts of different things these days, especially since I acquired another beautiful granddaughter since this post 💓 I’ve even sewn costumes for the girls to wear at their annual Disney On Ice outing, although I didn’t make them this year (thanks to COVID19) I think the most ambitious project I’ve done is to make a calming pet bed for my little dog Milo. I’ve also invested in a Quilters Choice sewing machine, it has that really long sewing area, oh and walking foot (my sewing best friend) 🥰 What kind of things do you enjoy sewing?

      @@julz63 sounds like you have come so far with your sewing and congratulations on moren granddaughters - they must keep you business.
      It was nice to see an Australian who also knows and follows Melly - such a good explainer. I am basically a beginner into sewing. Before I would only use the machine for re hemming and taking in clothes. I can mend but I am so new to making from a pattern :)

    Excellent tutorial - i printed the pattern at the copy shop but one edge was consistently missing from the print range. There was only A4 and actual size print options and both didn’t completely print the pattern.

    • @Mellysews
      @Mellysews  Год назад

      I always recommend using Adobe Reader to open and then checking the auto rotate and center option to make sure no edges are cut off.

    LOVE this Bloomer! Though I am having a difficult time finding measurements for the actual bloomer. I got the ruffles, but can't get the whole bloomer! I did purchase the pattern but the dimensions are too small when I print them. I am new at sewing. If you or anyone can help that'd be great!!
    Thank you!

    Hi Melly, thank you so much for the great tutorial and patterns. I downloaded your free pattern 0-3 months but it seems huge next to the dress I made (Also your design) is this normal? I followed your instructions to the T. I am busy with the elastics but can not imagine that the size will change much. Just scared I messed it up.

    • @Mellysews
      @Mellysews  6 лет назад

      The diaper cover does look big until you get the elastic in. Also make sure to check your print settings to make sure the pattern didn't print at the wrong scale.

    Is the back of the bloomers wider than the front? Can't match up the seams and my template is printed correctly.
