    I grew up in a predominantly white area… I didn’t start to encounter racism until 5th grade. If it happened sooner, I was completely oblivious to it. In this area the KKK marched I think one Saturday a month. Smh I have never been able to wrap my head around someone hating me (or anyone) solely based on the color of your skin. 😢… don’t get me wrong it wasn’t everyone. I had a few great friends. The racism was heartbreaking 💔

      You were oblivious, but no one in your family tried to kill anyone or overturn the govt, and any black American would be more than justified if they did. Make racist white person just uncomfortable and thinking things are going to change, and they see it as criminal and the person saying it a criminal. And , you know it's seriously mental when they still fly the flag a losing aggressor against the US and still label themselves as American. I was the first child of my parents the attended only integrated schools. I was never told the significance of that while I was young and in school.

      Well, I've been in line for customer service and 5:1 a foreigner that's not management nor owner has been rude, to the point I chase down a manager to get what another location said I'm entitled to, but the foreigner brick walled the counter making me (of all places in Iowa) feel immersed in people from offshore locations like it's a third world country here.. and the sad thing, you look at how hospitable their country is as they want you to invest or spend into their country.. for example it's very hard for a Japanese person to say no, they'd rather work with you so you leave pleased and you spent money there, in fact Japan's servers even aren't tip based wage earners.
      Of the clips shown, Mrs. Mouth on the stairs needs the video shown to the property manager. Honestly, if there was a social media point where users post their concerns of the facility word would get around she's not worth trying to please, she's miserable and wants everyone to be miserable.
      I live in a small town less than 1000 population, you hear of funerals by notices at the seats and bulletins at convenience stores, and at the post office.. the town is so small the bank tellers know you by name and account number (& maybe see them 3x a month). Oddly I went to Walmart 25 miles out and found the librarian.. it's a small world and we get along.. even this past weekend the canopy lights in and gas pumps were available at the convenience store after closing, the help didn't shoo us off..(doubt it was the manager, on the adjacent corner to our residence is a friendly man, his wife manages the place and she surely knows our cars) but it still comes back to the root, it's income be nice
      I forgot to say.. we need a wall of shame social media site, we have to pass a dump of a backyard home whose tidy up front but has guests park in the alley blocking us off, their own driveway is full of cars that don't move, and their garage is disorderly and has to be emptied to access stuff.. they'd be a first pic to post

But, also, where I went to high school used to be one of the big areas in the Midwest for the KKK back in the 70s and 80s (I went to school there in the 00s), so it's entirely possible that these older people had ties and/or sympathized.

He became an Obstetrician Gynecologist and went back to Nigeria . Such an amazing man. The following year we had a man from India rent a room. His family were so nice and sent my mother some beautiful gifts. His name was MonajKumar Paul and he was a really nice man too. We were never called names and believe me my mother would not have tolerated that crap. We all need to get along in this world. We are here for a reason and that’s to survive.

    Ma'am is short for madam. In the US a woman who runs a brothel is referred to as a Madam... essentially a female pimp. Most women would never see that reference, as we know it more often is a sign of respect.

    • @xShadow_God
      @xShadow_God Год назад +1

      They might be called madam's, but that's not where the word comes from or what it means either. Madam has been around long before the US came into existence. She is a grown adult, like elderly grown, and speaking with a fluent American accent, she is 100% aware of how ma'am is used as a polite way to refer to someone here in the US. Either she is using this as a lame excuse to be racist, or she was literally just tired of being called ma'am and kinda snapped. Either way, she's out of line.

    How disappointing the manners of these people. I thought there were laws for people harassing people and using racial terms. Where I live, we are so diverse or maybe people who have respect for the people around us. I hope the store's manager escorted the lady (in the medicine aisle) outside and call the authorities to make a citizen complaint. Also take a photo and tell the lady she is no longer allowed to shop in their store. If someone does something wrong by mistake, they apologize and both sides just end the conversation. The older man in the car was so foul and in front of a child. What is the point of keep the anger going. Maybe where I live, they say just let it go. The other side might have a gun and shot you (road rage). I can understand some older generation speaking in a racial tone (they lived in a time it was common), but to go on and on with the conversation.
    The lady blocking the car out of the parking lot, how can he leave when she is standing in front of his car. Later walking in front of it. I do not know if I would have the patience of not hitting her with the car. I know you cannot take the law into your hands. When the police came, show him how rude she was, how she was holding this man against his wishes, and she was inviting him to hit her with the car. I know it would be the driver's fault if he hit her, but she needs to take responsibility for some of this man's actions. The lady in the gas station, I am glad the husband tried to get his wife out of the situation. Unfortunately, he probably will hear about it when they get home. I do have a problem with the lady in the background of telling the girl to get back in the car. That might escalate and taunting the lady to get madder and keep complaining. I hate to say, my husband had a problem with loud woman that kept yakking, yakking and getting hysterical.
    No one in the U.S. should tell someone they do not belong here (provided they are legal citizens either by birth or through the govt.). Truly, the only ones that have that right are the American Indians.
