I got a Holladay Rambler older one never had any problems my rv tech said the newer ones have lots of problems hope all goes well for you.
Oh yeah, we're still working out the bugs in this one. 😂
Definitely, we have a 2023 holiday rambler eclipse 35r we bought in January this year in Florida rv show...been to rev and general rv in north canton, ohio twice
At some point, we'll have to share about all of the little things here and there and how they were fixed. Some of the stuff could have been done by us without anything too special, and it might be common enough that others would benefit from knowing the fixes!
When my 2023 36f was at rev in Decatur last week I had the same issue with both my toilets (draining down not the valve) - they knew the problem before I could even say “drain down”. I am guessing they have someone on the line who wasn’t trained well. They fixed them both for me. As a stop gap before I got to RV I used zip ties to hold my discharge up after seeing comments online
Oh no joke... Yeah, I think these discharge valves are supposed to be more upright, and I suspect this is poor training on the units themselves like you said. I will add that to our work order then!! Thanks for mentioning that!

Was there a part # for the hose? I'm experiencing the same exact issue in my '23 bounder, and more than likely, that is what I need to replace.
Something happen between 3:27 and 3:54? Also, strangely enough I had a similar drain issue with my sink a week ago. Just had to re-seal around the drain with silicone.

We don't have a macerator toilet, but on our toilet the rubber seal at the bottom of the bowl is supposed to contain the water. Is that not the case with a macerator toilet?
I kind of miss our gravity toilets, we never had any trouble with those! And nope, there's actually no flange or seal at all with these, it just goes straight down the bowl, black tube into that little pump/fan assembly, then out the little hole in the corner and through the tube that I replaced, one more tube, and out to the tank from there! There should be water in the bowl, though it's only the amount able to be held with gravity in the hose and bowl, apparently!
@@CozyLivingMachine well thanks for the toilet education. The more I learn about motorhomes, the more I'm inclined to keep my 5th wheel.
@@RamblinRoadies Of course! This was definitely a new one to me as well. The thought of chopping up the waste before sending to the black tank didn't sound too appealing. And I completely understand! 😂 At least if your engine gives you trouble, your house doesn't need to go in with it!
