Nice, i do a bit with taxis on my channel , a v8 is defo a good idea they are slow . never seen one that straight really nice car , nicely detailed engine as well.
Hey! The rear axle is a Salisbury 4HA. Well the centre part is a 4HA. The tubes and half shafts are from the original 12HA axle but the ratio was quite high for the engine and itself was probably not up to the job, the 4HA being much larger. I’ll be putting more vids up on my channel at some point.
The diesel wasn't too bad but did make motorway trips a bit unpleasant. I know wasn't designed to be a motorway car but now, it's so smooth and quick and it sounds divine. Sits at 75mph at about 2400rpm and is now a joy to do longer trips in.

@Edwin Roger yup, been watching on Flixzone for since november myself :)
All you do is destroy classic cars, you are an absolute muppet. And your "builds" looks like shite.
No. All you do is destroy classic cars. You are an absolute muppet.

What vehicle was the Rover V8 sourced from and is it in a more softer state of tune?
It came from a Range Rover. It’s probably softer tuned as it has SU carbs rather than efi. It probably makes about 180 or so.
As a matter of interest what axle did you use .

Mental and damn near pointless.
I love it.

@@garysmith2450 I can imagine. The diesel seems comfy around 70 or so.
@@Landie_Man Have you got a TD27 in your Land Rover then? It didn’t help being normally aspirated and auto with no lock-up 4th.
@@garysmith2450 no in my London cab!! We talk on the my London fairway taxi page! My fairway will do 70.
@@Landie_Man ah cool. Mine did too but you certainly knew about it haha! What’s your name on the page?
