  • "Goldie's Last Day" was a genre-bending and game-changing album in the 1990's and made PFR one of the most beloved CCM bands of all time. On this episode I sit down with band member Joel Hanson to talk about their early days, his journey post-PFR and why we all need a Sabbath!

Patrick was our music guy at a very small church in North Phx. Cool, chill, great voice, played with no shoes on. First time I went there, my friend introduced me to him, "this is my friend Kim, she loves 4 Him but she likes PFR." He looks at me and says "great, so you listen to pfr every now and then ? " I looked at him at said, " Iisten to PFR when I vacuum because I can't drown out the Hims!" He says "great, still playimg second fiddle to 4Him. Don't bring your vacuum to church. " LOL.

Joel, much like you, was always one of my vocal heroes! “Forever” is one of the first songs I learned on guitar back in 2001!

Maybe it's an over sight on my part, but would you consider having Steven Curtis Chapman, Mark Lowery& Matthew West on your podcast? Different times of course...Ty in advance...😊
