Guatapé is a tiny town in the Antioquian countryside. It's on the tourist map for two reasons - its colorful streets and the nearby rock of El Peñol with it amazing views. It's definitely worth it provided you wander off the tourist areas for a bit!
The Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir, sometimes called the Guatapé Dam, is a Colombian reservoir located in eastern Antioquia of the Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM). Its construction required the demolition (literally) of the urban area of El Peñol, as well as various rural houses, both in El Peñol and in Guatapé; in fact, it covers a quarter of the territory of Guatapé. Built in two stages (the first completed in 1972 and the second in 1979), it is the reservoir in Colombia with the highest regulation. Water sports are practiced daily in this place, in addition to rides on motor boats, jet skis and yachts. It is the largest lake body in Antioquia and one of the largest lentic ecosystems in Colombia.

Some room for crops, but the real value here (and it's been on sale for years as the owner is in no rush to sell) is the location, the views and the water access. Guatape is ranked 1 or 2 top things to do in Medellin so it has quite a bit of value baked in there, the 360 views are one of a kind. It's worth it to the right person.

Find another property. If the Colombian seller tell you the real estate property is worth $1,000,000 US dollars....the seller is delusional. Find psychiatric help for the seller.
Beautiful scenery but EXCESSIVE PRICE! Please tell the owners NOBODY in their right mind will give them that kind of money in a place you can't plant furthermore in a country in a serious political instability. The owners may be thinking they are still in the 90's where the mafia lords would pay what they want.
CR , there are people that have a lot more money than us. They think nothing of paying that for a car to put in their collection. They can write a check for it to visit once in a while. And if the owners ask that and nobody buys it, well I think they will figure it out.
Lo siento, pero la información y el vídeo son pésimas y le voy a decir porque: Usted nunca informó ni mostró cuántas habitaciones en total tiene la propiedad. Tampoco cuántos baños ni su estado. No mostró la cocina de la finca! No sabemos si las habitaciones tienen closets o no. No mostró la sala ni el comedor! Vimos de lejos un Kiosco pero no sabemos si tiene un BBQ. No sabemos exactamente las áreas de las casas principal y la de huéspedes ni su estado actual de conservación! Usted invirtió casi todo el tiempo del video en mostramos que la finca tiene una buena vista, pero eso se da por descontado al conocer su ubicación. También sabemos que allí se va a respirar una excelente calidad de aire sin que usted nos lo cuente. A los latinoamericanos lo que menos nos importa son los vecinos y entre mas lejos estén, mejor para nosotros. Especialmente en fincas de descanso a donde vamos con el fin de estar tranquilos. WiFi de excelente calidad se puede tener en cualquier parte de Colombia, solo es pagar servicio satelital! Cuando un colombiano va adquirir una propiedad de recreo lo que más le importa es cantidad y calidad de habitaciones, cantidad y calidad de baños, calidad de la cocina, tamaño y ubicación de la piscina y su maquinaria de respaldo, saber si cuenta con alcantarillado o pozo séptico. Árboles frutales y espacios para siembra. A ustedes en Norteamérica no les importan los baños de a mucho. Solo si tiene o no tiene vista. por lo pronto no sabemos si la finca vale los $3.700 millones que usted afirma. La sola ubicación no los vale. Gracias de todos modos por su trabajo pero tiene que aprender a hacer videos de las propiedades!

Esta tour se complico por que había una familia ocupando la casa en el momento del tour y no fui posible mostrar mejor lo que hablas. El problema Carlos es que no quedó muy claro si Sam hizo el video como un avaluador de propiedad raíz o como un promotor turístico. Sin embargo, yo no calificaría su trabajo de pésimo. Eso es excesivo. Usted podría haber dicho lo mismo con un tono menos agresivo. Sam es un constructor de posibilidades, y los que lo seguimos de tiempo atrás, reconocemos que lo hace muy bien.
