Wow Jontohil recapped my tips from your previous react video into this video lol. Also yeah Jontohil2 trying to make you not use the diamondback is because it is one of the actually Overpowered weapons alongside scorch shot from pyro and the wrangler from engineer. The damage output is the highest among all the revolver due to easy to get crits and the downside is non-existent because crit just multiplies it to high heavens AND crit has no falloff meaning you CAN shoot it from any distance with full damage. The -15% damage is just like how it affects L'etranger, the gun still works just fine.
yeah, the diamondback is extremely strong, especially is you're a decent spy against meh enemies. recently i was doing really well as a spy, but then i got discovered by a pyro and still managed to gun down a heavy from full health right before i died just because i had enough crits at my disposal (yes, i could've shot the pyro that was chasing me, but it'd have been less funny). i don't really want to recommend it because it's TOO strong. it's like the l'etranger except instead of missing the cloak, you'll miss the safety net of the damage it gives you almost for free.
11:34 The reason why so many spy mains are salty is that due to the Amby nerf in jungle inferno they can't headshot people from across the map even if it DOES take skill to hit the head...........but there's sniper right so it was impeding on his territory so they gave a crit damage fall off at a certain range to prevent that from happening. I still think it's a good gun and well balanced, they just need to adjust. Beside if they REALLY want that crit from afar go use Diamondback (honestly I'm surprised this wasn't for the same reason) or go play sniper. FishStickonaStick made a good video about "In Defense of the Ambassador" proving it's still worth while to use. Here's the URL for it. ruclips.net/video/odd5NY6UCR4/видео.html
While I personally don't mind that the Ambassador has a crit damage fall off, I do think that minimum range for the crit damage fall of to start taking effect is too harsh, so I would like to see it being less severe in the future (although that probably wouldn't happen anyway).
You should try some of the tf2 gmod ragdoll old school classics like ethiomod tf2 air and tf2 air 2 (just be warned on the 2nd one it just gets wilder) and of course amazing sfm/gmod shorts work of electro64rus (its REALLY wild and you will question your head on what is going on)
I still prefer a normal, stock gun. Like all stock weapons, it's a solid, good all-rounder that works in pretty much all situations. Also yeah, if available, always reload, as the first bullet after reload, with how the mechanic works, pretty much always hits. So if you can afford to reload between each shot - it will increase accuracy drastically. Although if you are really good at aiming, Diamondback and Ambassador are still incredible weapons. Weirdly, I pretty much never use Le'tranger, as it has good bonuses, that lower damage sounds like too much of a disadvantage, as I still like to use gun more than most spies. And I never, ever used Enforcer. But again, it's about that slower firing speed, and I like to use gun more often than most spies.
Diamondback store crits didn't need to be aimed AT ALL. Guaranteed 102 damage and 2 taps 8/9 classes from a sniper range are monstrous for a weak class like Spy.
I would laugh so hard if he said "spy has a knife", i don't know how he would fit it in the context, but it would be so funny
It would be!
the frogman you just saw was good old martincitopants another youtuber known for his videos where his known for being loud and pretty random.
He should react to martin hes funny af
I didn't know that! Maybe I will check out his videos!
@@formattedorc i definetly suggest it!
the diamondback has a hidden downside of, immediately losing all respect from everyone who realizes you're using the diamondback
I see!
12:58 Yes. nearly every weapon in the game has festive reskins, golden reskins, warpaints and many other things to customize weapons.
Well, for the "gold" skin (australium) only 21 have this option, kind of limited, at least the festive has more options.
Awesome! Thanks!
@@formattedorcBtw Golden weapons are called Australiums and they can be obtained in MVM mode (pve) and they are expensive AS FU**

Martincitopants has arrived
Yes! You can festivize pretty much any weapon (Btw if you want a festivizer, I have one I'm not planning on using).
Awesome! I will gladly take it if you don't want it!
