Speaker: House will not debate Uganda airlines report

The Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has said that a report on an investigation into the operations of Uganda Airlines carried out by parliament's committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises COSASE will not be debated. Instead, the Uganda Airlines report will be among the over 100 original Auditor General’s reports that will be tabled for an omnibus consideration by the house without the scrutiny of the accountability committees.Among rebuked the COSASE committee chaired by the MP Joel Ssenyonyi for leaking the report to the public before it could be considered by parliament.
