I’m 75, a whole month younger than David, and have had businesses of my own my entire adult life. It’s so interesting to watch this about working from home, which is all I’ve mostly ever done. Thank you for these fantastically helpful and stimulating conversations! I’ve learned a great deal.

Susan - you absolutely made my day! I'm recording another session with David soon. Stay tuned. - Dave ( www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com )

Out of interest, what line(s) of business, Susan?

Loved hearing you reminisce about the Palm Pilot & using graffiti. 😂

Oh and by the way, David mentions the idea of a paper notebook where the pages are connected to the cloud - such things are now available, including the one that Moleskine have made where you write using a real pen that has a small camera inside it on a Moleskine paper pad that has tiny dots hidden on the paper and so you get the analogue experience of writing on actual paper with an actual pen, but the text/drawings etc. are also available in an app to then use digitally. It's pricy but does do what David mentions - not sure they have created a tiny wallet-sized version yet though, so the wallet capture tool may remain ;)

Ian - Have you used it? I don't know anyone who has. I prefer to scan my notes into Evernote. But that's just me.

Great video as ever Dave and David. Something that I wonder is that when I hear David speak of how to execute the GTD method / be productive, it feels very matter of fact and David rarely gets drawn into or contemplates notions of things not being simple or logical. It makes me think David may not have been a procrastinator, as the kinds of rabbit holes / spirals of thought that most procrastinators get drawn into just don't seem like notions that David would ever entertain! :)

Ian - You raise a good point. My sense is that David is very chill when it comes to how the methodology works for him and has been in this game for so long that nothing catches him off guard.

GTD is timeless. Love his straight face reaction to people needing Netflix. (They don’t).

Thanks to you both - GTD is the only way I can handle responsibilities and this was helpful insight.
