Hi I used cornstarch but it worked on one side but not the other spot. To clean the make up oil spill. How would I get out the soap and water if I use that to clean the spot. What are your thoughts. Thanks
Hey Addie, yes this should remove salt stains too. Please be aware salt stains will remove some of the dye on the upper, so if it looks a little patchy that's why. Good luck!

In the water I added liquid soap, sometimes called washing up liquid! Hope that helps :)

@@orakrcelic9589 not OP but I was wondering the same thing. I noticed on Pinterest a couple posts suggesting a small amount of Dawn to clean Uggs.

Does dawn dish soap work?
I would definitely use dawn soap. This soap takes out the grease.
