Would love more on these pencils - just ordered mine! I've just gotten the Daubigny 72 set and the Pheonixcolor really cheap sets........I can honestly say they are all creamy smooth and a pleasure to use! I rarely use my expensive pencils now - these are so nice to use. Please carry on reviewing affordable ones. Thanks for the video!😀
These are the last set I’m going to buy 🤣🤣I don’t have Holbeins but have all the rest of the pastel colours including the original Marco Macaroons that are water soluble…I should have taken shares out in BF when I first bought them…🤣🤣🥰

Thank you for this excellent review. I’ve just ordered both a set of these and the Castle arts pastel tints set. I love my Holbeins pastels (and I use a lot of pastels in my floral colouring ) but could only afford the set of 12. I actually went on line to see if the larger set of Holbeins was any more affordable, and came across this, which has been so helpful. Must admit though to being a bit of a kleptomaniac when it comes to new pencil sets, and these look so delicious. Can’t wait for them to arrive!

Apparently they were released this December. I order my set set of Macaron brutes the other day. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get here. I ordered square brutes in the first week of December and they arrived Christmas Eve. It was a shocker as some of the things I bought from Alliexpress in the past took 2 months or to arrive.

Please do a bit of colouring with them. I’d like to know what you think of them when used in pictures. Brutfuner has an older 80 pencil pastels set. Dirt cheap and most definitely not all pastel shades at al. They are hard. But that said, I still like and use them. But they don’t have names. I’d like to know how close they are in feel to the square oily pencils, which I love.
I ordered a back up set of the 120 brutfuner square, from Ali express, they came in 2 days and were sent from Amazon !!
Gosh this is soo funny, my set of these arrived today!👍 Im really impressed by them, they are so like the Holbiens, its amazing. They even feel very like them to colour with. I was about to buy a new set of pastel Holbiens as mine are getting so short, but I'm now thinking I don't need too these are easily good enough. (Also I have the soft white, its dreadful, you aren't missing anything, its softer than a prisma, but its so soft you can't sharpen it, its just stays blunt. I really dislike it.) I think these are better than my Castle arts pastels as well. Great little buy, and definitely worth the shipping wait. 😄
I heard if you leave the white in the fridge before using a hand sharpener, it will sharpen.

Currently going to have my spare pastel Lowe play with my Poly's as they appear to be complimenting each other nicley - Im interested in knowing how they compare to the Pastelowe re colours and lay down (IMO nothing compares to Holbein)
Thanks so much for sharing. I’d love to know are these supposed to be an oil pencil like the squares set and can that be used with the polychromos? Will they layer and blend well with the polychromos pencils? Thanks again.

Does anyone have the 80 'pastel set' and this 50 macaron set? If so are the colours different? Great price for these but don't want to double up on the colours if they same ones.
Love brutfuner pencils but have the original 160 set, the square set (love them) and the 80 set which people say is the pastel set but they came out early last year before this 50 macaron set.
